- Matthew 25:14-15 “Again, (Kingdom of God) will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them. To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.
There are ‘personal preferences’ in this world and even in the world of God. People enjoy self-satisfaction through them. People live their lives according to their personal preferences, eat, wear clothing, and enjoy things according to their personal preferences, speak with those who fit their preferences, love them, derive satisfaction from them, and make their wishes come true. People have to do things according to their preferences in order to be satisfied, and happy, and have their wishes come true.
Your preferences are formed according to ‘your constitution and your thoughts.’ You buy and wear clothes, eat food, and make and live in your environment – all according to your preferences, right? Everyone’s preferences are determined by their constitutions, their thoughts, and their brains’ level, and they make their choices based on them.
God gave human beings ‘the freewill to do things according to their individuality and preferences’ and let them live by them. God let everyone see, hear, enjoy themselves, and find satisfaction according to their own freewill and according to ‘their preferences.’ It is because then God’s beloved people can use the things that God designed and made in various ways and find satisfaction. God rejoices at that because it is like laying out twenty different types of merchandise for sale at a marketplace and selling all of them.
Your preferences are formed according to ‘your constitution.’ Both houses and environments too – people choose them according to ‘their preferences.’
- Some people like ‘apartments.’ Some people like ‘houses built on land.’
- Some people like ‘living in cities.’ Some people like ‘living in a quiet countryside.’
- Some people like ‘big houses.’ Some people like ‘small and cozy houses.’
- Some people like ‘lower floors.’ Some people like ‘higher floors.’
All of them are entirely ‘their own preferences, their own freewill, and their own choices.’ Partners for love too- people find and meet them according to ‘their preferences.
- Some prefer tall people. Some prefer short people.
- Some prefer plump people. Some prefer thin people.
- Some prefer meticulous personalities. Some prefer easy-going personalities.
- Some look for someone who is well-educated. Some look for someone who is good at business.
- Some look for someone who is pure and kind. Some look for someone who is intelligent.
- People love meeting and living with the person they want according to their preferences.
[Everything] is based entirely on ‘their preferences, their freewill, and their choice.’ Food too – people choose it according to ‘their preferences.’ Some prefer nutritious foods and eat them with delight while others are happy and satisfied as long as the food is delicious regardless of nutrition. However, rather than living by ‘preferences within God’s Will,’ people live according to ‘their preferences’ influenced by their physical nature. Therefore, there are even people who live by ‘unrighteous preferences.’ Whether it is unrighteous or righteous, they are both ‘your preferences.’ However, ultimately, you will pay the price for the good or evil you have done following those preferences. Your preferences are your choice. And you also bear the responsibility for that. However, nothing is guaranteed if you live according to your preferences. Your preferences are unstable. You can’t trust them. Why?
It is because reality is different from your thoughts. Human beings choose ‘the things they like’ according to their preferences, according to ‘their constitutions, and the levels of their thoughts,’ and derive satisfaction from it. Therefore, even though they may like it at first, as time passes, they will come to dislike it and discard it. The hearts of people are constantly changing. The heart is so prone to changing dozens or hundreds of times even in a single day. Therefore, you cannot trust even yourself and you cannot trust even your own thoughts. They are unstable. Only ‘preferences that are united with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son’ can be trusted, will not leave you with regrets, will satisfy your preferences for your body’s entire lifetime, and will satisfy your preferences even to the eternity of your spirit. Additionally, the longer it goes on, the more of an ideal world it makes; the more you raise your level, the more you will prefer to choose better things and thus, you will be satisfied. There are limits to man’s preferences. Therefore, even the satisfaction is limited. Only the Almighty Divine Being is omnipotent and therefore, only He can satisfy man’s preferences and give them satisfaction, and make it last till eternity.
Your preferences are entirely based on ‘your own freewill and your choices. ’You find and live in houses and environments according to ‘your preferences.’ You find and eat food according to ‘your preferences.’ You find and live with a person to love according to ‘your preferences.’ And you also set and live by your sense of value according to ‘your preferences.’
Then as you work fervently and live diligently, your thoughts will change into ‘high level [thoughts]’ and your preferences will also change accordingly. The same is true with your faith. [If] you do things according to your level at first but then become more fervent and take action more diligently according to God’s Word, the level of your thoughts will be elevated and your preferences will also change and become higher level in accordance with that. If [something or someone] does not fit your preferences, you can’t live with [it or them] because there is no ‘satisfaction.’ In some cases, even if [something or someone] does not fit your preferences, you can live with [it or them] while ‘making corrections [to fit].’
The reason your ‘preferences’ don’t fit the Lord is because you have not risen to ‘that level’ yet. I hope that by praying, learning diligently, and taking action, you will hurry up and rise to ‘the level where the Lord is.’ Both God and the Holy Spirit have their ‘freewill based on their preferences’ too. Therefore, although They treat all mankind evenly well, They find ‘the one who satisfies Their preferences’, give him the mission, use him as Their body, and carry out ‘the Will’ [through him]. God looks for ‘the one who lives according to His preferences.’ It is because then the history of love will be fulfilled according to the Purpose of Creation and He will be satisfied. In order for that to happen, human beings have to hear God’s Word, obey His Word, and make themselves.
Making yourselves by God’s Word and preferences requires that much hard work, effort, and struggling. Yet, since the Trinity will help and work with you that much more, you will be made into a spirit and a body that are of the highest value, and become the Trinity’s counterpart of love, and your value will be ‘an eternal value.’ God’s preferences are endless. Therefore, before you get any older, before it is late, I hope that you will hurry up and make yourself endlessly according to God’s preferences.
