Throw Away your Arrogance and Put on Humbleness

(The Lord had me think about ‘arrogance and humbleness’ for a few days. I realized that it’s difficult to be perfectly humble. This is the message I received when I asked Him what I must do to throw away arrogance and put on humbleness.)

As for Me, a humble person is better than the king. It is not easy to find someone who’s perfectly humble in the human world. Humbleness is one of the biggest virtues of heavenly people. A humble person is someone who can fulfill the will of the heavens. Someone who takes off arrogance and puts on humbleness is the one who comes deep to My heart.

Arrogance of human beings becomes an obstacle when fulfilling the will, and it is one of the most difficult elements for human beings to discard. It is hard to find someone who has perfectly thrown away all of their arrogance, and it is also hard to find someone who is humble and is like a lamb to Me.

Even when they climb up a little bit, people say that they are infinitely high. Just because they are cleaner than they were yesterday, they think that they are the only clean ones in the world. The more you meet with Me and the more you love Me, the more you will put on the clothes of humbleness over and over. Humbleness is the greatest virtue for My brides.

You say that you are smaller than this person but greater than that person, and you look down on your brothers. Do not ever look down on anyone for even a moment. Think that everyone you see is someone whom you should serve. The more you value other people, the more I will value you. The more you raise your brother, the more I will raise you.

I keep a distance from arrogant people, and I look for humble people. Arrogance is the vanguard of destruction, but humbleness is the belt of the righteous and the shield of salvation. People who love Me deeply will become humble. People who raise themselves will get their feet caught by Satan. Therefore, be more humble. Value others and take young people valuably.

When opinions are divided, first be humble and ask Me humbly. When both of you are claiming that you are right, I turn My back on both of you. If both of you stick to your own opinions, then even when what one of you is saying is correct, I cannot stand on the side of that person. Therefore, first be humble before anything. Think that being humble is above everything. You must be humble in order to come to Heaven. Only the humble ones can enter through the door of Heaven. Lighten your burden of sin by being humble.  (The Holy Son made me read the book of proverbs.)

  • (Proverbs 3:7) Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
  • (Proverbs 6:16~19) There are six things the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.
  • (Proverbs 8:13) I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.
  • (Proverbs 11:2) When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
  • (Proverbs 13:10) Where there is strife, there is pride,
  • (Proverbs 15:25) The LORD tears down the house of the proud,
  • (Proverbs 16:5) The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.
  • (Proverbs 16:18) Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.
  • (Proverbs 21:4) Haughty eyes and a proud heart—the unplowed field of the wicked— produce sin.
  • (Proverbs 21:24) The proud and arrogant person—“Mocker” is his name —behaves with insolent fury
  • (Proverbs 22:4) Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life.
  • (Proverbs 15:33) Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor.

Therefore, learn the virtue of humbleness. Do you think you are higher than the person next to you? If so, first take a look at your own shortcomings. It is not too late to notice the flaws of others after you’ve made up for the things you lack. Raise and respect your brothers. People who abide by this will receive the crown of life.

No one recognizes the masterpiece even until right before it is completed. The one who makes it until the end is the owner. Up to the point the completed work is made, everything is a part of the process. When you are in the process, stay away from boasting and continue on that path humbly. Carry on with it. The humble one will drink from the cup that I am holding!
