The wages of sin is death. God who made things peaceful by making people repent.

  • Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

Today is ‘Han-ga-wee [Korean thanksgiving],’ which is the Korea’s traditional holiday and [one of] the biggest holidays. Han-ga-wee is the day of giving thanks to the ancestors after having great farming all year and while sharing the harvest with family members.

Han-ga-wee that we are receiving in this best of seasons, we must spend this as a holiday to give thanksgiving and glory to God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son who created all things in nature and heaven and earth. You must especially give sincere thanksgiving and glory to God who allows us to spend this year’s Han-ga-wee peacefully like this.

From August 20th~25th, Korea was in ‘a quasi-state of war’ with North Korea. On August 4th, the ‘North Korean army laying landmines’ caused the legs of two Korean soldiers to be amputated. South Korea responded strongly to that, commenced with loudspeakers [anti-North Korea] propaganda broadcasts toward North Korea, and demanded an apology.

At this, North Korea ‘fired two rounds of artillery shells’ around Yeoncheon-gun in Gyonnggi-do, and threatened to ‘launch military operations’ soon if the loudspeaker [anti-North Korea] propaganda broadcasts were not stopped in two days. Accordingly, South Korea responded with more than many tens of times of firepower and fired about 30 artillery shells at North Korea. And demanded North Korea’s apology for ‘their acts of provocation.’ At this, North Korea declared ‘a quasi-state of war’ and threatened to take military action if loudspeaker [anti-North Korea] propaganda broadcasts were not stopped by 5 pm. August 22nd. At this I prayed to God and said, “Everyone is not thinking seriously about the war and is just doing their own work calmly.” God said, “If they are calm, they will finally know it only when war breaks out and they die.”

The South Korean government that was aware of the entire situation was on high alert and running here and there. Korea is ‘the only divided nation in the entire world.’  It is a nation where ‘the danger of war’ is always lurking. We must always pray for ‘the nation.’ The nation’s destiny is you own destiny.

I could not help but pray even more because I was involved in the Vietnam War and experienced the suffering of war intensely enough for my blood to dry out. If a war breaks out now, since they will use ‘nuclear weapons and chemical weapons,’ everyone will get sick and be finished due to the [tainted] air. That will be a truly tragic life. Even if the war ends, it will be hard to gather again, and [society] will turn into a den of crime where crime is rampant and people will plunder each other. Only someone who has experienced war knows the terror of war deep into his bones. The situation is completely different between the time when war is about to break out and the time when war has broken out. The situation is as different as the time when a person is about to stab someone with a knife and after a person has stabbed someone with a knife. Once war breaks out, the situation becomes 100% different from that time on. People will lose their minds and only then seek God out of fear. If war breaks out, order will break down and society will fall into utter chaos it will be hard to live because electricity and water will be shut down, people will reject each other and try to live only for themselves, it will turn into a crime-ridden world in no time and people will plunder and rape, food will run out and people will starve, people will be unable to move around because the roads and transportation systems will break down, money will become worthless and people cannot use them, and people will try to just save their own lives by crawling into even a mouse hole if there is one.

I experienced war and know that situation well. That is why I prayed really earnestly and desperately asking for war to never, ever, break out. While I was doing that, I heard ‘a voice from God that made me realize.’ “Who would be delighted to let war happen? I don’t want that either. However, both individuals and nations will pay the price if they have sins. The wages of sin is ‘death.’ Therefore, if they have sins, they will receive a variety of famine, war, and suffering as a price for that. And due to sins they will be unable to avoid being judged, and will be judged.” Upon hearing that Word I admitted it saying, “That is right!” And I repented while confessing the various sins of the nation and the world. I confessed each and every sin to God and repented.

You have to always clean up filthy things. Only then can you live without diseases. If trash is piled high in your house, you must throw it away. You have to make it clean by clearing away sewage. Waste produced inside the body has to be thrown out through excrement.

If you don’t, only you will suffer as a result of that. The same is true with sin. Sin must be gotten rid of through ‘repentance.’ Always, judgment happens, wars break out, and disasters strike as a result of sin. Therefore, you have to repent every day. Only then will you not receive ‘suffering resulting from sin.’

At this I prayed once again to God, thanked Him and made a promise. “Now, I will work ten times more fervently. If war breaks out, I can’t work because I will be dead or injured. Since you blocked war from happening, I will work even more fervently.”

Now that you have heard this message and you know, I urge you to spend this choo-suk (Korean Thanksgiving) being thankful especially to the Holy Trinity and loving the Holy trinity! If war had broken out, there would even be people who would already be dead and not be alive till now. I urge all of you to listen to the Word, realize, and run and work even more fervently, and I bless you to receive that kind of strength and power!
