- John 5:39 You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you have eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me.
Even though it is something they perceived incorrectly when they were young, because they keep the same incorrect perceptions and live without knowing even after growing up, so many people live suffering [as a result]. When you study peopleâs brains and thoughts and eyes and ears you find that there are lots more errors than you expect. You have to know this fact. Peopleâs brains have a tendency to not believe and not perceive âunpleasant wordsâ or âwords about possible lossesâ because they are ominous. On the other hand, they gladly believe and perceive âpleasant wordsâ or âwords about possible benefitsâ because they are pleasant to hear. However, you surely have to know that what you perceive and reality are different.
If you look at the islands of various nations on a world map, they are marked like dots. So people only perceive them thinking, âIslands are tiny.â Especially Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean is marked as a single dot on the map, so it is not clearly noticeable. People who saw Hawaii only on a map and have not been to the islands think, âHawaii is nice but it is small. Is it as big as my neighborhood? I could probably see the entire islands after traveling around a little bit.â But when you actually go there, itâs different from that perception.
People from all over the world go to Hawaii in droves and yet, it is not too crowded even if you enjoyed a year-long vacation there. No matter how many people are there, there is still space left in the ocean, and the land is not filled to capacity either. In this way, a personâs brain and thoughts, eyes and ears make a lot of errors and mistakes. Therefore, there are lots of instances where people think incorrectly, calculate incorrectly, see incorrectly, and hear incorrectly. In the end, it is âtheir own loss.â
People who make errors and mistakes do that because they donât check and they donât study. Regarding how many mistakes you make and how much losses you suffer as a result of incorrect perceptions, thoughts, and mindset, sometimes you find out after time passes and sometimes you finish without knowing at all because it is something you have to take action to know but you did not do it. However, you will continue to suffer harm until you perceive correctly and take action correctly. People remain ignorant due to incorrect perceptions and only come to find out after they suffer harm as a result of that.
In some cases, people find out about it only after they go to Hell. People find out only then and they go berserk. But by that time, it is too late. They can never come out of there.
You have to check and study to find out why the water in the pond does not rise and fill it quickly even though a tremendous amount of water is flowing into it. It is because water is leaking through the cracks. Likewise, you have to study to find out why the level of your faith does not increase as you expected even though you have run really hard. You need to study and check to see how your deeds in your daily life are.
Ultimately, it is like water leaking through cracks that exist because of your contradictions and because there are problems in your thoughts and actions. Whatever you do, you have to do it 100%. Then it is perfect. If there is a crack, water will leak out. In the same way, if there is a crack in your faith, your merits will leak out. You have to fix your contradictions and make your thoughts and action perfect.
If [human beings] had not studied medicine, people would have died egregiously from being bitten by insignificant mosquitoes. By studying [this issue], various countermeasures have been employed such as destroying mosquitoes, vaccinating against them, and others.
Besides [this issue], as a result of studying medicine, people acquired the ability to treat diseases from major to minor ailments. In the case of various tools also, because they studied and made them, people gained the ability to cook food, farm, and construct buildings. While walking around, they made bicycles by studying, then made cars by studying some more, and became able to travel in only a few minutes, distances that would have taken days by walking. When they studied further and made airplanes, people gained the ability to travel within a few hours to places that would have been impossible to reach otherwise.
If a person receives only âelementary education,â he does not know anything beyond that. In order to go to higher levels, he has to receive âsecondary education and higher education.â The same is true with religion history. God prophesied through the prophets and then carried out history at higher levels at each time period by sending âprophets, central figures, judges, and the Messiah.â The Old Testament people did not know âthe authority of becoming children of God.â They lived in the Old Testament laws as servants of God. In order for them to know the higher level world, they had to hear âthe Word of Jesus the Messiahâ whom God sent for that time period, and had to live by that Word. The same is true with this time period. Those who are in the New Testament domain do not know anything âmore than children.â
When you look at the Bible, the perceptions of the Resurrection, the Advent, the Rapture, Judgment, and the Last Days are especially important. They are truly important doctrines. Therefore, they must be taught correctly and must be perceived correctly. It is a big problem if these important doctrines are taught incorrectly. And it is a big problem because even if you taught people correctly, if they, themselves, fail to perceive [the doctrines] correctly, they will end up living their life of faith with incorrect perceptions. People do things according to âtheir own perceptions.â Therefore, those who have incorrect perceptions do things according to âincorrect perceptions.â I make people perceive correctly, know correctly, realize correctly, and live âreal faithâ while taking action in reality. You absolutely should not have âwrong perceptionsâ and live by delusions.
Mistakes and errors happen in big and small ways every day. The solution is to âstudyâ and âcheck thoroughly.â If you have incorrect perceptions, you will make errors and mistakes. If you thoughtlessly take action, you cannot gain as much as you have worked hard. Therefore, you have to take action while always checking and studying. If you do, you will do it easily and you will gain even things that are impossible.
Whatever is Godâs Will is appropriate. Therefore, the more you study and take action on it, the more God will work with you and you will not have lingering attachment even after getting it done. I told you that studying is ârealizing Godâs Will,â right? That is why studying must be done while raising your level:Â
- Studying enables impossible things to become possible.
- Studying enables you to achieve big things on a magnified scale.
- Studying enables you to discover ânew things.â
- Studying enables you to make âsomething that already exists even better.
- Studying enables you to see and verify âthe best ways and methods.â
If you take action after studying, it will not be difficult. Therefore, everyone, study! Â God gave people âthe blessing of studying.â Therefore, He gave people brains and let them think. He allowed them to raise their levels by doing that. I hope that you will study about both your faith and your own life. Just as you would set your clock to âthe standard time,â I hope that each of you will sync your center to âthe Word of the time period and the Trinityâs thoughts,â have correct perceptions about your work and your life, and take action while studying about them! I hope that you will also study and further develop your lives and make it dozens or hundreds of times greater.
