37. Love Is Not Done Alone. To Must Love Each Other for it to be Love
God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son always love us. But, even though they love us, if we don’t love them [back,] the will cannot be fulfilled. Even if God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son say, “I love you 100%,” don’t be at ease with your heart. After listening to that, don’t think to yourself, ‘God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son love me that much, so it will not be a problem for me to go to Heaven.’
The Holy Trinity say this to everyone. Since they are the original Beings of love, they say they never hate us, but always love us. They are beings of love from the beginning to the end. Ice is always cold whether it is the winter or the summer, and fire is always hot whether it is the summer or winter. The love of the Holy Trinity never changes.
If a person who received a sentence to Hell and is falling to the last pit of Hell asks, “Lord! Do you love me?” Then, the Lord will say that they love him. “How much?”
“I love you 100%,” the Lord will say. However, after listening to this, don’t be at ease with your heart thinking, ‘Then there will be no problem for me.’ Even if that person is one footstep before reaching Hell, the Lord [still] love that person. But why does he go to Hell?
He goes to Hell because he let God and the Lord have a crush on him in the end. Just because God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son love you, you will be in big trouble if you just end up receiving that love [and do nothing.] After you receive that love, if you don’t truly love God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, you will be sentenced to Hell. You need to believe with knowledge. If you believe without knowing about this, you will be in big trouble.
‘Salvation’ is achieved when we receive the Lord’ love, and when we also love the Lord. Just as a life is conceived when a woman receives a man’s love and loves him back, if the Lord alone gives love, the history of life of salvation will not take place in us.
We have to do our share of the responsibility in order to achieve salvation, and go to Heaven. Therefore, the Lord always urges us for us to do our responsibilities. Those who live fulfilling their responsibilities according to the Lord’s will are people who live in the Lord’s embrace in all things. Those who live doing their responsibilities is like a man who loves a woman 100%, and the woman also loving that man back 100%. When only one side loves, love is not fulfilled. Love is not done alone. Two must love each other for it to be love.
38. The Secret of Rapture Is also ‘Love’
(Let me give you a parable about ‘the secret of rapture.’) Some crown prince appeared in some countryside [town] riding in a golden carriage. There was a secret when it came to the life of riding in a glistening golden carriage and heading to the palace. He was in a hurry looking for the one who only loves him, so ‘love’ was the secret. Only those who knew this secret could ride on the golden carriage and go with the prince.
[One day,] the crown prince went to someone’s house. They treated the prince so well to the point where the table was literally groaning with food. There were lots of beautiful daughters in that household too, but the crown prince took none of them on the golden carriage. After he finished eating and drinking at that house, he was passing by on the street, and discovered one woman. The crown prince talked with her for a little bit, and then he took her on the golden carriage. There was no one who knew what she did to be able to get on the golden carriage.
And then he was also passing by on the street, and found one woman working diligently in the rice paddy. He spoke to her and then took her on the golden carriage even though her body and clothes were still covered in dirt. People were fretting over because they were so curious to know what they needed to do in order to get on that carriage. But there was one who knew the secret. Those who went to him and learned the secret hurried and quickly adorned themselves and confessed their love to the crown prince. They told him that their eternal hope was to give all their heart, will, and life for the rest of their life, and serve the prince of the King, love him, and become his bride. Then the crown prince took all of them on his golden carriage. Then the carriage as well as the prince left. All the people who got on the carriage all raptured to the palace.
In this way, the secret of rapture is ‘love.’ Can you compare ‘love’ to material wealth, fame, or anything else? Heaven is the world of love. God, the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son are the fundamental beings of love.
Since the Lord comes as the groom, only the brides who love him can become one with the Lord. Heaven is the world of faith, so both men and women qualify to become the bride before the Lord. The bride must learn about the groom, and adorn and ready herself in the way the groom wants. And she must be clean. The bride must make herself in a way fitting to the groom’s heart, so that the groom will like her and be attracted to her.
The body is beautiful according to how you are born, but the spirit becomes infinitely beautiful and lovely depending on how much the mind, heart, thoughts, and actions are fixed. If you truly love the Lord, obey his words, and live as you take action 100% with the Lord’s mentality, your spirit will shine unimaginably in reality and transform to be indescribably beautiful and stunning.
39. Turn on the Ignition with Your Mind and Start the Motor with Action
Last night, before sleeping, I prayed to the Lord. Before I slept, I prayed that he awaken me at predawn because I was so exhausted and there was a possibility that I might not be able to get up on my own. If he were to only wake me up, I promised that I would and pray then work on all of my delayed tasks.
My eyes opened at predawn and when I looked at the clock, I saw that it was one o’clock. I thought, ‘The Lord woke me up. Great. Now, I will pray as I had promised yesterday.’ When I tried to get up, my body felt so heavy from fatigue that I couldn’t get up. So I lay there and thought this and that. Like all of you, I thought, ‘Can’t I sleep just a little longer?’ I opened my eyes but I couldn’t get up so I asked, in prayer, why it was so hard to get up. I assumed that I couldn’t get up because Satan and the demons were interfering so I prayed lying down. I prayed for over twenty minutes lying down but even when I tried to get up, my body felt so heavy that I couldn’t get up. So, I asked the Lord in prayer. I sincerely asked [the Lord] whether there was a will [or not] to this since I couldn’t get up even after an hour.]
When I pray to the Lord, [he] always has an answer, so I sincerely asked in prayer. And the Lord made me realize as he said, “If you are woken up from your sleep, you need to turn on the ignition of the brain and start the motor of your body to be able to get up. Would you be able to get up simply because you’re awake?”
The Lord said, “Like this, a person’s body is likened to a machine. Therefore, that body can move with ease only when you turn on the ignition with your heart and thoughts. Right now, you lie there and only think in your heart, ‘I’d better get up,’ are you not? From my perspective, not even your body is functioning because you didn’t turn on the ignition in your heart. If you turn on the ignition with your thoughts, your brain will begin to hum as a machine would, but as of now, there is no such noise coming from your brain.”
And he also said, “There is no demon next to you. It is not a demon doing this to you. It is only that you didn’t turn on the ignition and start the motor. Turn on the ignition and start the motor. Aren’t your mind and thoughts the key to the ignition of your body? Quickly turn on the ignition with your mind and start the motor with action. The body is moved by the mind, so if you just think lying there, would your body be able to move?”]
I asked again, “Lord, how do we start the motor?” With this, the Lord answered, “Think that I woke you up as I had promised last night and am continuously waiting next to you. Don’t you think you should do it thinking of me who is next to you? To be able to move, a person must move with a goal or will in mind.” I thought, “Ah, the Lord comes as he promises, wakes me up, then stays by my side. If I don’t get up in two seconds, the Lord will go away.’ With these thoughts, I turned on the ignition and started the motor with action, and then I was able to get right up in an instant. I also told myself, ‘Hurry and wash up. Wash up within three minutes, even brush my teeth, and get down on my knees before the Lord, who is the king of kings, all within three minutes and pray.’ When I turned on the ignition with these words and thoughts, my body moved.
In this way, all of you must not just be awake in your heart but you should also turn on the ignition of [your brain] with the mind, start the motor with your actions, and fulfill your set goal/purpose. The physical body called ‘yourself’ is a great [piece of] equipment which is a miniature version of the vast universe. The ‘body’ is a great machine that is mysterious, powerful, marvelous, and which can do thousands of things. Even though there are machines that can handle various works [with one machine], there is no such machine that can perform thousands of things like a human being can. No matter how excellent a machine a computer is, it is just a machine in which we input [information].
God created human beings to be like a divine being. If the mind, heart, and thoughts [of human beings] receive the Word of God and the Lord, receive the mind of God and the Lord, and take action, human beings will be able to do divine deeds even as a [mere] human being. When we do things in that way, as human beings, we can live in the world as God and the Lord [would live]. Thus, we can live an eternal life that is tens of thousands of times more valuable than [the life of] regular people.
40. A Life of Doing Things with The Lord
One day, I completed various tasks all day to the point that I felt I was dying. But I still had many things to do. So I let out a sigh and said, “Even if I work to the point of death, there is no end for me. No matter how much I work, there isn’t such a thing as an ‘end.’” I muttered about the situation to myself. The Lord came, already knowing that I was struggling, and He said just one thing.
He said, “I will do it for you.” I had to write the sermon, but I really didn’t have time. So when the Lord said that He would do it for me, I was elated. I wrote the message in gladness, saying, “If I do things with you, Lord, nothing is impossible; so I can do everything!” I finished writing a sermon, which would’ve taken me two days, in a few hours, and I also finished all the other tasks that were piled up. The Lord said, “If you do two things at the same time, [you can complete them] twice as fast.” Following the secret method that the Lord taught me, I did two things simultaneously from then on. As I worked according to the Lord’s Word, I was able to complete things more than twice as fast and gained twice as much.
The Lord said, “The biggest problem in your life of believing in and loving Me, is that, when doing My work, you do it by yourself instead of doing it with Me. If you do it by yourself, you will get irritated, get angry, become tired, and have complaints; the work will be difficult to do; and you will not be able to do it properly due to Satan’s attacks. Also, even after completing the work, it will not satisfy Me. Sometimes you will do things that you should not be doing, and you will make the work difficult for yourself. In addition, if you do it by yourself, I will be left alone while you will be doing the work alone. Then there will be Satan’s hindrance, causing you to struggle in various ways while doing the work.”
If we don’t do things with the Lord, we will end up going on our own way and end up living all day filled with our own thoughts. If we start off the day with our own thoughts, we will end up living the entire day with our own thoughts. If we don’t do things with the Lord, we cannot live in the way the Lord wants. As for those who don’t discuss with the Lord and don’t do things with the Lord, the Lord just leaves them alone or He makes them unable to do the work. They don’t know how tremendous a loss this is for them. God has set a law which states, “There is no success without discussion; plans fail for lack of counsel.”
The purpose of believing in and loving the Lord and living obeying His Word and receiving salvation is to ‘live with the Lord.’ To simply work like a servant is not the purpose of salvation. Those who have faith and keep ‘a life with the Lord’ as their standard are people who live as the Lord’s brides at the highest level of faith, even if they don’t have a title or even if they are a regular member or a newcomer. As for those who don’t do things with the Lord, even if they have a high position or mission, the Lord is standing with His back completely turned against them.
‘A life of doing things with the Lord’ is the goal to reach at the final stage of faith. This is the purpose of leading a life of faith.
