12. JUST AS A FARMER FARMS AVOIDING A RAINSTORM, DO THE SAME WITH YOUR FAITH

The Lord said to me. “Know how a farmer grows crops when there is a rainstorm and various difficulties while farming and how they harvest in the autumn. And do it wisely as the farmer does”

When you farm, you see that farmers toil with a heart burning with anxiety and while sweating from the time they sow seeds in the ground until the crops ripen and they harvest them. If rain falls while they are working hard, they come back home and wait until the rain stops. Then when the rain stops, they go back to the field and work again. While doing so, if a rainstorm blows again or a typhoon rages, they have to just come back home without being able to work. If they continuously work with force through a rainstorm it harms the crops. When a rainstorm comes, they come back home and wait until the weather improves. If they give up saying, “I don’t think I can farm,” just because rain falls or if they give up  and leave the crops alone without watering them just because there is a drought, the fields will be covered with weeds. If they give up and do not farm just because the wind blows, they cannot reap the grains or fruits. So you will have nothing to eat and you will starve.

There are more good days than there are days of rainstorms or drought. Therefore, you can take care of the crops during those times. Even though the farmers suffer damages from the wind, rain, and drought, when the weather becomes good, they make up even what they could not do because of the rain or a drought. It is not that rain continuously falls, wind continuously blows, and weeds continuously grow. There are more days when the weather is good, there are more days when the wind does not blow,  and there are more days when the weeds do not [grow]. If they work hard at those times, even a farmer with a weak heart, a farmer with no confidence, and a farmer who gives up on themselves can all do it. Ultimately, the crops will bear good fruits in the autumn, produce the results, and form a bountiful golden field.

It is the same with leading a life of faith also. There are ‘difficult times’ for each of you while you lead a life of faith. During those times, you are unable to lead your life of faith properly. Just as a farmer comes back home from working in the field when the wind and rain strike, during ‘the difficult times in the midst of your life of faith’  you can listen to the Word, pray, and prepare yourself. Tribulations and difficulties do not continue infinitely. It’s not that your heart is always weak or you are always without strength. Therefore, during a difficult time in the midst of your life of faith, prepare yourself by listening to the Word plentifully and storing it as well as praying. Then when the tribulations and difficulties have passed, at that time, do everything including what you could not zealously do previously.

If [you] sin because your body is weak and your heart is weak, you cannot do what you need to do at that time. However, it’s not that the days you sin continue on nonstop. It’s not that the tribulations of faith continue to arise nonstop and the drought of grace continues on nonstop. Good days do come. So at that time, you can make up what you could not do during the time you committed sin. At that time, you should receive grace through the Word, evangelize, and do Heaven’s work also.

Even though a farmer cannot work in the field when a rainstorm is pouring or when he is sick, he can do the farming work when the weather becomes better and his body condition is better. If he works without ceasing at those times, he can acquire 100% the full grown grains and gain the fruit in the autumn. It is the same with spiritual farming. If you give up, you cannot harvest. If your body gives up and does not take action for the spirit saying, “It’s hard,” then your body will fail to save your spirit. So [your body] will end up killing your spirit and the hope of the body will disappear.

Do not just scold [yourself] saying your heart, mind, and action are weak during a time of tribulation. Instead, you must take action repeatedly to the end. Just as you would put aside [money] in a savings account every day, your body must build righteousness every day and give it to your spirit. Then, whether [the fruit is] big or small, the spirit will ultimately bear fruit and gain an eternal victory.

 13. RESOLVING PHYSICAL PROBLEMS AND PROBLEMS OF FAITH

While praying at the predawn hours to receive the Sunday message, I asked the Holy Son Lord, “I prayed so much and sent people to take care of even five things that needed to be done. Yet, what I wanted to do didn’t work out. Is it not your Will, Lord?” Upon hearing my anxious and earnest prayer, the Lord said, “It is My Will. It is something I want.” So I said, “Then why is it so hard for it to happen? It is not working out even though I resolved five problems.” The Holy Son provided mentoring again and gave a revelation saying, “There are more problems to resolve.” I asked, “What is it, Lord?”

The Holy Son Lord said, “Tug and see which ones have not been untied. Untied ones will come pulled out and tied ones will not pull out. So find them and untie them.” So I kept checking, found one more item, and resolved it while praying. Then I tugged on it but still it did not pull out. When I prayed continually, I saw that Satan was holding onto it. So I prayed prayers of fighting against Satan for a week. When I tugged on it after that it came out. The issue was resolved. When it was pulled out, my problem was also resolved.

For all of you too, there may be situations where you resolved problems by working hard but still things did not work out. Sometimes things don’t work out because the fundamental problem is not resolved due to the following reasons. In the physical world, several problems have been resolved but some still remain unresolved.

In the spiritual world of faith also, several problems have been resolved but some still remain unresolved. Therefore, when doing a certain work, if a part of it works and the rest does not, do not just think, ‘Is it not the Lord’s will?’ Even if there is [God’s] will, all problems must be resolved in order for it to work out. Therefore, I’m telling you to keep finding problems by praying until the end and to work as you resolve and take care of them one by one.

You must first resolve ‘the issue of Satan.’ Satan is always involved in every problem no matter what it is. Therefore, we must get rid of Satan first by chopping him with the ax of the Word, receive the fiery Holy Spirit and with a steel-like mind, drive away Satan in the name of the Lord. “Things do not work out just because you resolve one or two problems. Things will work out when you completely resolve all the problems.” “After resolving only a few issues, do not think, ‘Is it not the Lord’s will?’ and be discouraged and change the direction just because things do not work out. You must look closely to see what else you need to resolve additionally and resolve each and every item.”

This is the Holy Son Lord’s mentoring through a revelation.

14. DO YOU KNOW WHY GOD EXISTS FOR ETERNITY?

One day at dawn hours [the mentor prayed], “Never changing God, I am so happy because I live believing and loving the Almighty who exists forever. Also, the Holy Spirit and the Lord are never changing, so I am very happy.” Whenever I prayed, I made sure to thank God who is eternal and I gave glory to Him. The Lord asked me watching me do this. “Do you know why God exists for eternity?” “Lord, please teach me.” “Live knowing this. Know properly and give thanks to God who is eternal.

Do you know how a tiger lives out its lifespan in the jungle? Tigers are not ruled by other animals. Instead they rule over all the animals. That’s why they can survive and live to the end of their life-span in the jungle. Likewise, the Almighty God, my Father, also rules over all creation, people in both heaven and earth, and [even] the wicked Satan. That is why God exists for eternity. And in order to exist forever, He continues to create the world of Heaven.

[You too.] In order for you to exist forever, you need to also live controlling Satan and the wicked. Therefore, you must guard your body, heart, and mind, and through the deeds of your body, you need to make your spirit into an eternally existing spirit.

Satan uses wicked people and people that have gone astray to prevent your spirit from existing in the eternal light, and he does all kinds of evil things in order to rule your heart. Therefore, don’t be ruled by Satan. Instead, fight and rule over Satan. Also, you must focus your mind, heart, and thoughts and control and rule over yourself so that you are not ruled by all sorts of evil and injustices. Then, your spirit will become a spirit living amidst the light and will ultimately go to the eternal world and exist for eternity with God who is eternal.

For a person to live to the end of their life-span, they need to rule over and control themselves, and they need to also control and rule over creation, the world, and even the wicked people. The Creator has blessed you to do this. He has blessed you to control and rule over the creation and to prosper. Aren’t you the lord over all creatures? Therefore, control your body, heart, thoughts, and mind, and live according to my Will.”

15. THE DEAD FAITH

When you look at the Christian nations in Europe you’ll see that they believe Jesus to be Messiah and boast of their advanced cultures. (*Christians here refer to everyone, not just the Protestants but also the Catholics) Their cathedrals are elaborate and ornate because their outsides are painted with gold. But when I observed their words and actions with the Lord, I saw that their insides and outsides were different. Their outsides were painted with gold but their insides were plain steel. I can tell because I spent months with people who believed in Jesus but lived various different lives. Some attended church regularly and some only occasionally. But when they were living outside in the world, they didn’t give off the aroma of the Lord. They did everything they wanted to do and lived extremely physical lives of faith. When I looked at the young people, they were dead in their faith and superficial [in their observances].

I had a chance to speak with one of the young people. He said, “We acknowledge Jesus. But how can we live like Him when we aren’t Jesus? If God created man but prohibited us from doing what we want, we are people without freedom. Our lives would be in bondage and dead if we did only what our parents tell us to do. Religion is like that too.” Like he said, he lived his life of faith liberally. He said he attends mass or service only once a month or only goes to church at Easter or Christmas.

His was a life that merely believed that the Lord was Messiah. He was extremely liberal. He did not love the Lord passionately. He was consumed with love for himself, he enjoyed sexual immorality, eating, drinking, playing, and playing sports. The young people in Christian nations point to their 2000 year history in which they believed in the Lord from the time of their ancestors. But they did not know the bible well. They didn’t know the Lord’s heart, and fundamental truths and thought the spiritual world was a fantasy or a dream. Their lives consisted of smoking and drinking endlessly and carousing for a long time with the opposite sex whenever night fell.

People who believe the Lord to be Messiah only in their hearts are already living in the domain of death. If they keep living that way they will ultimately lose even their salvation. If you simply believe in the Lord, there is not much suffering. That is why there are many that believe only superficially. There are many who do whatever they like and don’t do things according to the Lord’s Will because doing things according to the Lord’s Will is painful. If you look at people on the surface it is hard to tell [what they are like] even if you see their wrong deeds because they attend church and believe in the Lord. But you must know that even if people believe the Lord as the Messiah, if they do things in physical and worldly ways according to their own thinking because they like doing those things, then they are headed for HELL.

16. IF WE AREN’T CLEAN

When I was a little older than fifteen years of age, I was in charge of the Sunday school students of the church in OO. I was visiting their homes and went to each house so that I would take the elementary school kids to church.

When I went to [the houses] to pick up the kids, some parents asked me, “Why don’t you come in for a moment. I will bring some snack. Have some before you leave.” Even if they insisted that I come in, I would not enter some of the houses, giving every possible excuse. I was afraid that lice would jump on me. Besides, I couldn’t sit on a dirty floor, wearing clean clothes for church. So I would be standing only outside in their courtyard and pick up the kids. Although living in the same time period, there were houses and rooms that were so filthy that I really didn’t want to enter when they invited me in because I felt like going into a beggar’s arms.

The Lord won’t enter our hearts either if we aren’t clean. Our hearts have to shine without a blemish. When you examine yourself, there shouldn’t be any flaws or reasons to rebuke yourself.

When a passer-by in dirty clothes approaches, you shrink and move away, avoiding the person, because you are afraid that the person may brush by you. But if a pretty and nice-looking person in shiny clothes passes and brushes by you, you will feel good about it, in this case. When a person’s heart and body aren’t good, [you] don’t like them to brush by you. Even between husband and wife or between lovers, when one does something hateful, the other loathes them brushing by their skin. Even if they brush by their clothes, they would feel bad.

The same is true between the Lord and us. You naturally turn your face away from those who trouble your heart; you get a headache just to think of those who treated you cruelly. On the other hand, those who love [you] and take care of you make you feel happy, even if you don’t see them but only think of them. Thinking of them, you can overcome difficulties or troubles; everything changes to joy. Even if you think of them a whole day, you don’t tire of it. You feel joyful; you have a banquet in your heart. Even if you are all alone, you aren’t irritable; you get to grin and smile. You feel hopeful at the thought of meeting them. The Lord said that He felt the same way. As for those who trouble His heart and disobey His words, the Lord always remains in the position of bearing the cross for them.
