50. The Very First Thing Human Beings Must Do Upon Being Born Into The World
After [being born] into this world, human beings truly have so many things to do in order to exist and in order to live life. While we complete those tasks, we find ourselves as busy as if we were traveling to a faraway destination on a train. Then, before we know it, our youth passes and our middle age and senior years draw nearer and faster each moment. Our life is this busy but we must find out ‘What is the very first thing human beings must do upon being born into this world?’
God created all things of the universe, and He created a planet that is more beautiful than any other planets of the universe. It is the most precious and beautiful planet in the universe, and it’s like Heaven. That planet is none other than ‘the Earth.’ From a scientific perspective, the time that it takes to go from one end of the universe to the other [when traveling] at the speed of light is fifteen billion years. That’s how big the universe is. God made ‘the Earth’ to be the only place for life to exist. He also created the Earth to be the only place for human beings to live.
Again, among the countless organisms on the Earth, He made the ‘body of a human being’ to be the only thing that’s in the image and likeness of God. Furthermore, He created the ‘spirit of a human being’ to be the only thing that has the divine image and likeness of God. Human beings start as human beings in the beginning and end as human beings. Animals start as animals in the beginning, and they end as animals, even after ten billion years. Animals only have a mind and a soul, but they don’t have a ‘spirit.’ Thus, they cannot become human beings.
Since they don’t have a spirit, they are not the object of God’s salvation. The animals in Heaven are not the spirits of the animals on earth. It’s not that they have gone up to Heaven through receiving salvation. The animals in Heaven are separately created in Heaven. The ‘image and likeness’ of human beings do not change into that of animals. However, at times, their ‘thoughts’ change into the likeness of animals and drop to the level of animals.
They are human beings, but if they don’t have realizations, they are no different from animals. As for animals, their image and likeness do not change into that of a human being, nor can their mind and thoughts elevate to the level of a human being’s. This is because the Creator God has set a limit. If human beings believe in and unite with the Creator God, He gives them wisdom, so they can reach the divine level. God works upon them to enable them to do it. Not only that, human beings’ spirits can even go to Heaven. Using the Earth as its foundation, the ‘body’ lives interacting with creation. As for the ‘spirit,’ it lives interacting with the body while also interacting with the Creator God, who is a spirit. This is how He has created human beings to live.
Upon being born into the world, there are many things that we, human beings must do to sustain our lives, but there is one thing that is the most important. It is receiving salvation in the spirit and body through believing in the Creator God and the Lord, and living receiving the blessings that God gives. ‘Living achieving salvation,’ which is the Will of God, is the very first thing that a human being must do as a human being after being born.
When you see the bodies and spirits that leave God and the Lord and head toward death in the spiritual world, they are like people who are being swept away by a torrent or who are carrying heavy loads on their shoulders. So no matter what they obtain, they feel empty, drained, and worn out. They don’t have joy and they feel agony. When living this kind of life, there is no eternal hope for the spirit even after the body finishes its life in this world. If a human being fails to take care of ‘the matter of saving themselves’ which is the first thing they must take care of in their life, both their body and spirit go to death and dwell there.
When I ended today’s predawn prayer, the Holy Son said, “There is something more valuable, meaningful, and important to human beings than having a hundred 120-story buildings. It is to live believing in and serving God the Creator and truly believing in and loving Me, the Holy Son. But people live their lives without knowing this precious fact.” If a person owns a hundred 120-story buildings in the world, they are a truly remarkable person. However, even if they have that much wealth, if they live without believing in God and Me, the Holy Son according to Their Word, their spirit will end up going to the world of eternal suffering–Hell. Therefore, everything they have in the world becomes nothing in the end.
On the other hand, even if a person doesn’t possess such buildings in the world, if they live believing in God and the Lord and obeying Their Word, their spirit will go to Heaven and they will live forever in the house the Lord prepares for them, with Heaven as the landscape in the background. So, can that be compared to having a hundred 120-story buildings in the world? When those who live their lives loving and serving God, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit are saved, they will live eternally enjoying everything that is in Heaven.
The first thing that a human being must do after being born is to worship and love God the Creator, to believe in and love the Lord, and to live listening to His Word. Human beings must, first, be saved. We must live our lives having been saved, then all our hard work won’t be in vain.
51. An Automated Life
One day, because I went to sleep late, I was tired and even though I opened my eyes at predawn, I did not get up right away but got up a little late. At that moment, the Holy Son showed me myself holding a gun. When I looked at the gun, it was not an automatic rifle that fires bullets in rapid succession but a ‘manual rifle’ that must be reloaded with a bullet each time.
The Holy Son said to me, “Considering what kind of time this is, why do you still have a manual rifle?” Because I did not get up even though I had opened my eyes at the right time at the predawn prayer time, the Holy Son showed me my actions in a parable as a ‘manual rifle’ and made me realize as He told me, “Your actions are like this. If your enemies have automatic rifles that fire bullets in rapid succession while you have a manual rifle, how will you defeat your enemies?”
Then He said in addition, “When you open your eyes at the predawn, you should immediately get up, wash, pray, and receive the Word. Then [you are] like an ‘automatic rifle.’ No matter what people are doing, the person who takes action immediately at the right time is a life that is like an ‘automatic rifle.’ ”At this, I promised Him saying, “When I open my eyes at predawn, I will get up immediately like an ‘automatic rifle!’”
God and the Holy Spirit both said, “Be ‘a person who lives automatically’ like an automatic machine.” What kind of a person is someone who does things automatically? Someone who takes action right on time like a clock is a person who does things automatically and thus, ’a person who lives an automated life.’ When you look at the principle behind automatic machines, the machines’ mechanisms themselves are made to perform specific movements automatically to achieve a specific purpose. Therefore, they are more intricate than regular machines and when the power cord is plugged in and [the run] switch is pressed, they respond on their own and run and operate automatically. In the same way, if you want to become ‘someone who takes action automatically,’ you must be detailed, and you must respond and take action automatically whenever God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord speak.
Automatic machines activate and operate automatically whenever [the run] switch is pressed. It is the principle of one part moving and causing another part to move. The same is true for people – they must do ① in order for them to do ②. Then ③ will be activated and they become automatic lives that run continually [one after the other in sequence]. In other words, it means that you have to do one particular part 100% in order for you to do another part and then as a result, you are able to continue and take action automatically on other things too. With an automatic machine once it is plugged in and [the run] switch is pressed, the machine does its work automatically even without people’s intervention. In the same way, when a person’s life becomes ‘an automated life,’ they are able to do things without difficulty. If that is the case, what is the switch for a person? It is ‘the thoughts.’ The thoughts are ‘the switch.’ God created people so that they will automatically take action whenever they think.
God created all creation in heaven and on earth to be ’automatic.’ The earth too – it doesn’t move because of man’s involvement. It ‘exists on its own’ while spinning automatically on its own. This is ‘the ultimate-level creation.’ God created all plants to ‘run automatically on their own’ too. When it rains, they automatically suck up the water and automatically absorb the nutrients. As a result of that, when the time comes, they produce flowers, and when the time comes, they automatically bear fruit and then the fruit grows. Animals too – God created them to automatically absorb [the food] when they eat and to automatically expel the excrement.
God created people to be ‘automatic’ too. The bodies of people were created to be ‘100% automatic’ centered on ‘the brain’ for the existence of life. Therefore, as long as a person is alive, the body parts of people move automatically. The body parts of people are themselves ‘automatic.’ However, if they are broken down due to pain or sickness, they don’t move automatically. Therefore, you have to fix ‘the sick body’ and ‘the sick thoughts.’
If you want to live an automatic life, you must work with enthusiasm, you must be diligent, you must take action with endurance and persistence, you must be thorough and detailed, and you must do 100% of the things you must. You have to be at an automated level like an automated constitution, automated life, and automated habits, etc. Then it will be easy for you. You will become ‘an automatic life’ only if you take action every day. A person who can do it sometimes but cannot do it at other times is ‘a manual life.’ You must make yourself run automatically by being united with the Lord like plugging in the power cord and pressing the switch of your thoughts. Then you will display your full abilities and perform at your peak, the work you do will be easy and comfortable and you will win and be victorious.
52. Your Contradictions
People each have small and big ‘contradictions.’ You must discover them and fix them. Discovering your contradictions is truly important work and great realization. This is what ‘your own contradictions’ are like: it’s like a young person who limps because he is unable to use his leg; it’s like being blind in one of your eyes; or it’s like being unable to use one of your arms.
Also, it’s like a house that leaks when it rains. Again, it’s like a person whose stomach cannot digest [food], so whenever they eat, their stomach feels heavy and bloated. So it’s painful for them, and everyone who sees them also feels pity for them. In this way, if you don’t fix your contradictions, you will suffer because of them and those who see you will feel sad also. Since your heart doesn’t agree with the hearts of those who don’t have contradictions, you will not be able to work together with them. So you will be left alone. As a result, you will be lonely and isolated. If you don’t fix your bad character, bad actions, hot temper, and deeply rooted sinful nature, everyone will feel burdened and will avoid being close to you.
You must realize, discover, and fix your contradictions. You yourself don’t really know [the contradictions] because they have become habits, routines, and [part of your] everyday life. The Word is ‘light.’ So if you listen to the perfect Word of God and the Lord, you will be able know and realize your dark side, and you will pray to fix them. Your contradictions belong to you. Your body and heart also belong to you. Therefore, you can control your heart, mind, thoughts, and actions however you want. So if, through enduring and persevering, you fix yourself, you will be able to more than competently fix your contradictions and the areas that you are lacking and falling short in.
The more you fix your contradictions, the more you will come out of [the state of] being a mental cripple and the more you will become perfect. God and the Lord tell you through ‘the Word’ to fix your contradictions, so you must listen to the Word and fix them when you should fix them. If you take action upon hearing ‘the Word,’ power will come, wonders will take place, and the diseases of the body and spirit will be healed.
[Your] realization depends on how much you value the Word in your everyday life and how much you concentrate your heart, mind, and thoughts. It means God created humans in such a way that things would turn out exactly according to how much human beings make up their minds, how much they become alert, how they think, and how they take action. Depending on their heart, mind, thoughts, and actions, human beings may live like an animal, live like a human being, or live like a god.
Depending on one’s heart, mind, thoughts, and actions, it goes from extreme to extreme. God created human beings in the image and likeness of the Trinity. And human beings have ‘a spirit.’ But then, according to their ‘heart and actions,’ they may become like an animal, or transform to become like the Divine Being who is the Trinity, or become like a devil of Hell. When you have a contradiction, you should immediately fix it even if you have to slap yourself hard on the cheek or give yourself some kind of whipping.
- Those who don’t fix their contradictions are disabled people.
- Those who lie, those who are lazy, those who grumble behind others’ backs,
- Those who criticize their brothers, those who forcefully control their brothers,
- Those who do things centering on themselves,
- Those who don’t fix their contradictions and bad characteristics, are handicapped people in faith
—such as cripples, lame, or cross eyes—from a spiritual standpoint. They must immediately fix themselves!
You must fix your contradictions, then both your body and heart will become perfect, you won’t clash with others, and you will be with the Lord at all times. Only when you fix your contradictions can you climb up to the perfect level.
Those who have contradictions are like a handicapped person in the mind and in actions. If you don’t fix the disabled mind and disabled actions, you cannot become the perfect bride of the Lord. You must fix them all. Those who are handicapped in faith must fix [themselves] on their own by listening to the Lord’s Word and by taking action.
53. Realizing Is the Answer
I was looking for answers to various issues. At that time, the Holy Spirit said, “There are no special answers for those problems. Realizing is the answer. What [I ] made you realize is the answer. In order to realize, and focus. You have to try to realize. Then you will realize even on your own and receive answers, and the Trinity will also make you realize and give you answers.”
People must take action in the course of living their lives. If you sit still, you will gain nothing. But problems always arise as long as you take action. Therefore, there is no such thing as ‘a life without problems.’ People look for answers about their work or their path of life, and they wonder ‘what they should do.’ If you cannot find ‘answers’ at such times, you cannot do it, and even if you take action, you will fail. Therefore, ‘answers’ are as valuable as a lump of gold. However, those who do not take action even though [the Trinity] made them realize are like people who know the answers but don’t even use them. If you don’t take action even after you know the answer, the problem won’t be resolved, so you will have to live trapped in that problem. Realizing is the answer to [all your] diverse problems. Therefore, you need to always focus on God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son in order to always realize.
So, how can you receive ‘an answer through a realization?’ God and the Holy Spirit give ‘realizations’ to people’s thoughts and remind them. So, at first, you might think to yourself, ‘Is this my own thought? ’Therefore, at that time, you need to converse with Them right away, pray, and ask Them. You will also be able to discern whether it is your own thought or a realization from the Trinity when you look at the content of your realization. When They give you answers through realization, They make you realize by ‘inspiring’ you through the Holy Spirit, They make you realize through ‘creation,’ and They make you realize especially while They are giving ‘the Word.’ When you need the answer right away, [the Trinity] make you realize directly, so, pray that you will always realize, and you should converse with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son.
Imagine how joyful and happy you would be if you know the answers when taking an exam. However, if you don’t take action even after being given the answers, you will continue to live bound by problems, and hope will not be fulfilled. God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord, who know each person’s problems, have given the answers so that each person can realize. However, those who don’t take action continue to live struggling in the midst of problems.
You should take action immediately when you realize. Then it will be resolved! If you do it late, you will forget your realization from your memory. If that happens, you will end up unable to do it. When you realize or when something comes to mind, you should do it immediately. Then the memory will not disappear, and the problem will be solved through taking action.
The same is true when managing lives, [deciding] your future path, and dealing with church issues, individual issues, family issues, and financial issues. If God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord give answers so that you will realize, you should act immediately when you are inspired, when it comes to mind, and when it is still in your memory. Only then will [the problem] be resolved. The same is true with restraining yourself from doing what you should not do. If you have received the ‘answer to not do it’ through a realization, you should immediately obey. Then you will be able to control yourself. Those who don’t do it don’t do it even when they are given ‘answers’ so that they will realize. Consequently, they face problems, get hurt, suffer.
If you receive the ‘answer that lets you realize,’ you have to treat it like ‘a nugget of pure gold.’ If your perception and perspective are elsewhere, you will not know even if God, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord give you answers to let you realize. In that case, They will let you realize secretly through a ‘person next to you.’ The predawn is the ‘opportune time to realize and receive answers through prayer.’ Therefore, you have to wake the dawn at all costs, pray, and realize! Realizing is the ‘answer!’ The Holy Spirit always inspires and helps along with the Lord’s spirit. Therefore, everyone should petition to realize the answer from the Holy Spirit and the Lord, and take action after receiving it; then things will work out.
