45. The First Love
The Holy Son told me, “If you lose your hot first love, you will lose the person you love. You must find your ‘first love’ again in a fiery way. Then you will take back the person you love.” He said. He then spoke again and said, “Even for the people who married out of love for each other, their ‘first love’ becomes cold. In the world of faith too, ‘the first love’ between people and Me, the Holy Son, will also become cold.”
I will tell you about why first love becomes cold. People’s psychology is such that when something they have wanted comes true, initially they go crazy, their brains are so excited that they are consumed by it and rejoice without even sleeping or eating. However, that fiery heart that was delighted and loving [at first], will gradually cool down and the heart they had at first disappears. People so want to gain ‘good environments,’ so want to receive ‘a mission,’ so want to meet a ‘a person they love,’ so want to obtain ‘a good house,’ and so want to buy ‘good clothes.’ However, when the things they have so desperately wanted and desired come true and they live enjoying it for a little while, because life is a repetition of everyday life,
in the course of continually using them, even new things become old things. Therefore, because they already used it and experienced it, the curiosity disappears, desire disappears, hope disappears, and boredom sets in. Also, because their brain level is low, things they valued before look average to them, and they will not do even the things they wanted to do [in the past].
In this way, their initial heart of liking them and loving them grows cold and they consider them to be unimpressive. In that way, ‘the love they had at first’ grows cold in the body, the heart, and the thoughts. Even toward the omniscient and omnipotent God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son, people love Them like fire at first and swear as if they will love Them for their entire lifetime without growing cold.
However, when time passes, even the people who were like that grow cold in their hearts, thoughts, and actions that were once blazing hot, they lose desire, lose interest, and their hope in life also becomes extremely weak. Because their first love grows cold, they end up living lives of faith with difficulty. Unless the fire of the first love burns hot, you cannot live with hope and joy.
The Holy Son said, “When wood is completely burned up, the fire goes out. You must keep putting more and more wood on the fire. Then it will not go out. [Isn’t that so?] The same is true with ‘the love between you and Me, the Holy Son.’ There are hundreds of ways to love. By praying and conversing with the Holy Son, you, who are My counterparts of love, must continually gain new things and love Me in a variety of ways. Then with the ‘first love’ as the basis, the ‘fire of love’ will [keep burning and] not go out.” He said. You must find new things. Then the ‘fire of the first love’ will get ignited. ‘The fire of the first love’ must not go out. Then new things will constantly be given.
The Almighty God and the Holy Son have limitless possessions. They said that they have hundreds of types of things to give us. Our ‘fire of first love’ must not go out and we must do things constantly and until the end. Then, They will give.
The Holy Son said, “Fire will catch on wood that is new. In this way, you must regain the ‘first love’ that was taken away and lost. Then your heart will burn intensely. And since your heart is burning, your actions will also burn. As a result, you will regain Me, the Holy Son. All of you should set fire to the ‘fire of the first love.’
If the ‘fire of the first love’ does not catch fire, you cannot do it because it is hard for you, you cannot do it because you have no hope, and you cannot do it because it will be boring and tiresome. If the first love grows cold, even if you do meet, there is nothing to say, and there will be no desire to love either. The same course you always took is boring and tiresome. You must find new things. If you find a new thing, the ‘fire of the first love’ will catch fire.
I will give you new things. So pray. Ask earnestly. Seek. If you do, you will get it. I love you. So, let’s find the first love with Me, the Holy Son, again and let’s make it burn! Heart, mind, and thoughts is the ‘fire. ’Raise your heart, mind, and thoughts powerfully! By doing so, also raise your actions powerfully! I am the Holy Son who sets the fire of the first love.”
46. [In] Life, If You Miscalculate, It Is a Different World
If you calculate incorrectly when doing business, you will incur a lot of losses and as a result, either fail at business or go bankrupt. A certain person calculated incorrectly thinking his business was going to do well and with hope, invested all of his wealth. However, the reality was different than what he had hoped. Ultimately, he blew all of his wealth and failed. This means that he calculated incorrectly. In this way, your faith, your life of living, and youth too, you must live while calculating them well. Then you absolutely will not fail. If you take action with correct calculations, you will go on gaining abundantly as much as you have worked hard.
The Holy Son said: “If you calculate incorrectly, it will be a different world. If you think incorrectly, it will be a different world.” Just as a person who is selling and buying merchandise will incur losses if he miscalculates, if you miscalculate in life, you will incur losses and you will end up living in a different world.
The Pharisees at Jesus’ time miscalculated life. Even though Jesus the Messiah personally gave the Word to them, they said it was wrong and argued while interpreting the Bible according to their own calculations. Ultimately, while rejecting and persecuting Jesus, they even killed him.
And their spirits also ended up receiving eternal judgment. Judas Iscariot sold Jesus the Messiah [and handed him] over because he miscalculated. As a result, he sent his own spirit to eternal Hell. The people at Jesus’ time who miscalculated and thus called Jesus a heretic, persecuted him, and slandered him, did not receive salvation of the time period. Their spirits became spirits that disappeared into the eternal darkness.
Let’s say that you sold one truckload of merchandise. You should have received 80 million won for each truckload but sold it for only 40 million won. (* 80 million appx $80,000; 40 million appx $40,000.) You had miscalculated your own merchandise. If later on, you discover that you miscalculated, you would run back and get back the difference. In the same way, if you know it now, then you must take action on your life with correct calculations. Then your hard work will not be in vain.
You must calculate correctly in faith too. People usually think, “Even if I do not believe in God or believe in the Messiah, I will probably go to a good world as long as I am good and live in a good way.” They live with a miscalculation and misperception. They are like people who spent their entire lifetime making merchandise and sold ten truckloads, but ended up selling their merchandise for only 10 million won when they should have sold it for 1 billion won. (10 million won= appx $10,000; 1 billion won = appx $1 million.)
There are many, many people on the earth who live with miscalculations about life. People do not know just how much loss they live with in their daily lives filled with false hopes because they miscalculated. You are incurring terrible losses because you are living not doing things you should be doing because you thought, perceived, and calculated incorrectly. You must first pray to the Lord and ask [Him] to calculate for you according to the Holy Spirit’s Will as you take action. Do not just listen to what others teach and say, “That is right.” Instead, you must ask God. You must pray asking God to calculate it for you and see whether that is right or not. If someone suggests a method with incorrect calculations, you absolutely must not take action on that.
The Holy Son said, “Do not incur losses and fail by miscalculating based on looking at just physical things. If you want to live every day not incurring losses but succeeding and benefiting, learn from Me, the Holy Son, and live calculating well.”
You must always calculate well in regards to issues of life and then take action on them. A person who calculates well is a person whose ‘brain’ is at the upper level. The person who lives with correct calculations about ‘How should life be lived for it to be beneficial? And [what will cause me] loss?’ is the person whose brain is good, thoughts are high, and has high IQ. You must live doing ‘earthly calculations and heavenly calculations’ well. In order to succeed in life, you need ‘diligence, effort, and calculations.’ When it comes to ‘living life,’ every day you must calculate well and take action.
47. You Must Pray. Then What You Wish for Will Come True
‘Prayer’ is talking to the Holy trinity in the name of the Lord. Among what you have prayed for, only what is proper reaches God. When you pray, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son consider it, and if it is proper, They set a time and hour and prepare a helper, and then send them to help you and let your prayer be fulfilled. Whether it is something that applies to you or to others, God grants it only when you pray. It is because that is God’s law. So God fulfills it for you absolutely only if you pray. Just as crops do not grow without the seeds being sown, things do not happen unless you pray.
Even when you pray, you must not pray only from your own position and you must not stop after praying briefly. When praying, you have to pray eagerly, earnestly, and sincerely and you have to pray until the end. After praying that way, you must not get discouraged but you should call on the Lord fervently, love Him, zealously carry out the work the Lord entrusted [to you], and wait while conversing with Him through prayer. In Matthew 7:7 it says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” It is a law that says that you will be given if you pray and if it is appropriate. You must absolutely believe in these Words and pray.
When you pray, you need to be alert and keep making words that are a continuation of what you said previously and you need to connect the two. As you continue to speak in that way, you should speak clearly in front of the Lord, the Almighty King. Then, you will not feel sleepy because no crack will be created and you will not have distracting thoughts in the brain.
If you pray, things that do not usually come to mind will come to mind clearly and spiritual things will occur to you. Therefore, you come to do things receiving strength to take action and ideas. If you pray, all of your ‘body,’ ‘heart,’ ‘brain,’ ‘soul,’ and ‘spirit’ experience changes.
- You must pray, then Satan cannot tempt you and even if wicked people tempt you, your heart will not be tugged.
- You must pray, then you can realize deeply when you hear the Word.
- You must pray, then your destiny will drastically change for the better.
- You must pray, then you will live even through a deadly crisis.
- You will certainly gain as much as you pray.
You must pray. Then what you wish for will come true. Prayer is a law of the Trinity. Therefore, you must pray, then [the Trinity] will grant it. Just as a farmer must sow seeds in the field in order for crops to grow, you must sow the seeds called ‘prayer’ before God. Then He will give you a reward for that.
The answer to prayer comes in a variety of ways. Sometimes an answer comes through the heart, saying, “Do not worry”; sometimes the heart is moved and becomes at ease; sometimes [God] shows it through a dream; and sometimes [God] gives a revelation through people or nature as well. If we do not pray, our body, brain, heart, soul and spirit all do not have strength.
Thus, we cannot do things with our own strength. That is why we are urged to do things after praying and receiving strength from the Almighty God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. You must pray, then you will realize properly when you hear the Word of the Almighty Holy Son also.
- You must pray, then God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son will accompany you helping you
- and they will resolve your problems for you.
- You must pray, then it will be beneficial in all circumstances.
- You must pray, then you will become united with the Holy Son and live loving Him.
- You must pray, then you will realize and know your sins.
- If you pray, the Holy Son will give you another chance and allow you to take action.
Prayer is a conversation with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. Those who do not pray are spiritually mute. You must pray. Then a spiritual inspiration will flash by, you will receive revelations through nature, and you will realize like lightning and take action. Prayer is the greatest energy for the spirit and body!
48. It Is to Make the Heart!
God, with the Holy Spirit and the Holy Son, made ‘human beings’ according to His image and likeness. So the structure and image of human beings are beautiful, both male and female. But [their] ‘hearts, minds, thoughts, and characters’ are not perfect but ever-changing. Because of their ‘imperfect hearts, minds, thoughts, and characters’ they get angry easily, quickly lose their temper, and explode in fury. As a result, all kinds of accidental situations such as hatred, fights, murders, wars, etc. happen. Also, because of [their] ‘hearts, minds, thoughts, and characters’ . There are always accidents and ultimately people even go to Hell.
‘A perfect heart’ is truly important. ‘The heart’ is the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. It is because with the heart, one can do ‘good’ and do ‘evil’ also. ‘The heart’ is thinking in the brain. There is ‘your heart’ which is thinking on your own, there is ‘the heart of Satan’ which is thinking under the influence of Satan, there is ‘the heart of a human being which is thinking according to what people say, and, there is ‘the heart of God’ that God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son gave. A person must be united with the Trinity then they can have the heart of God.
A heart that is made and a heart that is not made are as different as heaven and earth. If you live without making [your] heart, you will live swaying this way and that way as the wind blows like a reed. One’s destiny is determined by how good their heart is. As for the physical body, whoever it may be, everyone has it. But as for a perfect heart, not everyone has it. The body of human beings is created only as the basic. Therefore, the heart of human beings is not perfect.
As for ‘the heart,’ each human being must make it into the heart of the Holy trinity by doing their responsibility. When [they] make and re-create [their] hearts in this way, [they] are made completely and perfectly. When you remove other metals from gold, it becomes pure gold. From the heart also, it is to remove the human heart, evil, and contradictions and to live instilling the hearts of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son 100%. If you use your body with a heart that is made, it will be as good and ideal as making a tool and using it. Those who do not make their heart and just use it in its original state, are like someone who uses [pieces of] iron as a sickle, hoe, or shovel. That is why it is hard, inconvenient, and inefficient.
Human beings live with the heart. Therefore, you should live while making your heart into the heart of the Deity, in other words, the hearts of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son absolutely. Depending on whose heart you follow [as the model] in making [your heart,] ‘the value’ as well as ‘the use’ are determined. Unless you live while [your] heart is united with the hearts of God the Almighty, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, it is a worthless life. It is to make your heart perfect by being united with the Almighty Trinity, to have your body take action perfectly with that perfect heart, and consequently, to make your spirit perfect. If the heart of a human being is used after being made, it is 100 times easier and 1000 times more ideal.
A heart that is perfectly made re-creates ‘the spirit that is eternal.’ If you make your heart, thoughts, and mind perfect, you become a human being that has reached the level of the Deity. If you make [your] heart on your own, it is a heart of the human domain. It is to make your heart with the Word of the Holy Son and take action! The heart determines the fate of the body, the soul, and the spirit. It is to make the heart!! It is to make [yourself] perfect with the truth and love of the Holy Son!!
49. The Holy Trinity are Satisfied and Happy When You Acknowledge and Testify About What They Have Done
Before I begin praying, I always confess to ‘the things that God has done.’ “I give thanks and glory to You, Holy Trinity, who created the majestic and great Universe, who created the marvelous Solar System, and who created the Earth as the planet of the living to be the most beautiful planet in the Universe so that people can live. I thank You for creating the ‘physical body’ of human beings, which is the most beautiful and precious creation out of all the creations in the Universe, and for creating it in the image and likeness of the Holy Trinity, and I thank You for letting us live on this beautiful Earth.
I also thank You for creating the human ‘spirit’ according to the image and likeness of the Holy Trinity, and for enabling us to live believing in and loving God, the Holy Son, and the Holy Spirit according to Your Will so that we could receive salvation and live in Heaven. Just as You created the stars to fill the Universe completely, and just as You created nations to fill the entire Earth, in the heavenly spiritual world, You also created thousands of trillions of places for spirits, which are as big as the Earth, and You completely filled the spiritual world with them. I confess that You are the Holy Trinity who is almighty and all-knowing.”
When I confessed these things [to the Holy Son] after having realized them, the Holy Son said, “That is right,” and He expressed His gladness. And He asked me a question. “How did you know about all those worlds without seeing them?” “Upon seeing the tremendous Universe, I have realized that God created the world He dwells in to be more tremendous than the world that human beings live in and that God created it to be at least [as great] as the Universe, the physical world.” “Realize about the invisible things through visible things. Realize what the spirit is like through seeing the body. Realize what the invisible spiritual world is like through seeing the physical world.” “Lord, the Earth has become one world through the combining of different nations. Was Heaven formed through the combining of spiritual worlds as big as this Earth each, just like the universe of stars?”
“That is correct. The spiritual world is much more beautiful and more glorious. Also, the spirit is much bigger, more beautiful, and more glorious than the body. Realize about the magnified invisible world through the miniaturized visible world.” Then I confessed to the Holy Trinity again. I confessed saying, “You are the Holy Trinity who rules over Hell, the Abyss, Hades, satans and evil spirits, without missing any one of them. You don’t just send them to Hell and leave them alone, but You, God the Almighty, rule over them forever. If You did not rule over them, we would always be worried even if our spirits receive salvation and go to Heaven.” At this, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son all answered, “That is right.”
The Holy Son said, “The earthly world has become one world through the gathering of each nation. But the world of spirits has become one great world of God through the gathering of each realm of the spiritual world.” If you look at the things in heaven after being used to seeing the things of the world, you become incredibly amazed. Even if you were to just go around God’s throne once, it would take your entire life according to a human being’s sense of time. I asked the Holy Son, “One building in Heaven is larger than the Earth. How can people use all of those buildings that are so big?” The Holy Son answered, “The spirit is faster than light. In the spiritual world, you travel in spirit. So then how many seconds do you think it will take to move from one place to another? The spiritual world had to be made in a way that is fitting for the spirit to use. So if you compare it to things of the earthly world, you cannot believe it, and even if I explain it to you, you won’t be able to understand.”
“God, You made a house, that is, the Earth, for human beings to live on, and You have also made our body, so we are living like this; but people never offer words of thanksgiving to You, God, not even once, throughout their entire life. They just use what belongs to You to their hearts’ content and then they die. [God,] You must feel empty and sad about that, right?
[I,] who have realized this, give you thanks on [their] behalf, and I worship You as I bow before You in my heart.” And then I prayed, sincerely asking, “When the people of the world come before God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son like this, what must we do in order to satisfy You and please You?” At that time, God spoke. “When you acknowledge what I, Jehovah, have done, and when you testify to everyone about what I have done, I am satisfied and happy.”
We need to acknowledge and appreciate the fact that the Holy Trinity has created the Universe and all of creation, as well as the spiritual world. Also, since They have done so much for us, human beings, we need to acknowledge that fact, too. Then we will be able to connect with the Holy Trinity right away. The Almighty has carried [things] out for us lowly and insignificant human beings. Between people, between brothers, or between parents as well, the [other person] is happiest when we acknowledge and appreciate what they have done and when we treat them accordingly. The Holy Trinity have done hundreds, thousands, and tens of thousands of things for individuals, families, nations, and the world. You need to acknowledge what the Holy Trinity has done. Then God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son will also do more for you.
