Mistakes even lead to death.

  • Judges 16:17-18 So he told her everything. “No razor has ever been used on my head,” he said, “because I have been a Nazirite dedicated to God from my mother’s womb. If my head were shaved, my strength would leave me, and I would become as weak as any other man.” When Delilah saw that he had told her everything, she sent word to the rulers of the Philistines, “Come back once more; he has told me everything.” So the rulers of the Philistines returned with the silver in their hands.
  • Matthew 5:48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

When you look at the Bible from Genesis to Revelations, [you’ll see that] there were so many people who made mistakes before God, in some cases, small mistakes led to big mistakes and people were ultimately judged and went [the way of] death, and in other cases, after suffering, people turned back through repenting. King Saul made hundreds of mistakes before David and ultimately met his death by committing suicide. Solomon made the mistake of taking idol worshiping gentiles [as his concubines]. The prophet Jonah made the mistake of not preaching the gospel but fleeing from his mission.

In the New Testament times, Peter made a mistake before Jesus the Messiah and so was strongly rebuked for blocking Jesus when he was going to Jerusalem to open the path of salvation through suffering. Samson who appears in today’s main scriptures also failed because he shared his secret with a woman he loved by mistake. When you combine the Old and New Testaments, there are so many people who made mistakes that it is not possible to speak about each one. Ultimately, everyone receives according to what they have done.

Mistakes are neither predestined by God nor God’s Will. People end up making mistakes due to their own ignorance and misunderstandings or making mistakes while taking action without checking. Human beings are not ‘Divine Beings.’ Because people are people, even if they think they are doing well, they make mistakes because things don’t come to mind and even if things do come to mind, they make mistakes because they discern incorrectly. Also, people make mistakes because they don’t know and even if they know, they make mistakes because they lack the skill to handle it.

A person who makes mistakes is like a person who is sleeping. Just as people have no idea at all when they are sleeping, they have no idea that they are making a mistake. Sometimes people leave without turning off the stove due to a momentary lapse. However, that leads to a fire and even burns down the entire house. Sometimes even a house you built with 10 or 20 years of struggling is completely burned down and turned into ashes due to a momentary mistake. Car accidents also happen through ‘a momentary mistake.’ Sometimes someone who would have lived 50 or 70 years longer will die due to a momentary mistake and even ends up living the rest of his life suffering as a cripple. The same is true in your life of faith. There are many mistakes made while living lives of faith too. People end up turning all the merits they built up over many years into ashes while doing unlawful things by mistake due to a momentary impulsive action.

There are so many cases of people doing the wrong things due to mistakes in their thoughts and do the wrong things due to mistakes of actions. As a result of them, there is great ‘damage to the heart and damage to faith’. Why do people make so many mistakes? It is because they take action according to their ignorance and self-centered thoughts. Therefore, if you don’t want to make mistakes, you must become ‘a Divine Being.’ How can a person become a Divine Being, you ask?

You can do it if you absolutely center on ‘the Almighty God, Holy Spirit, and Holy Son.’ Even if the situation is difficult, if you judge by yourself, you will go down ‘the path of mistakes.’ The harder the situation is for you, the more you should learn and fix. You should educate your own self by telling yourself, “Come to your senses!” and also keep learning from the Lord and fixing yourself because on your own, you cannot get out of thoughts at your own level.

People commonly make mistakes due to the wrong mentality in their own brains and thoughts. Therefore, if you don’t want to make mistakes, you must extract the wrong mentality. If you don’t extract it, you will frequently have wrong mentality and as a result, you will make mistakes and cause problems like one would cause a car accident.

The result will be suffering and even death. If you make ‘the mistake of losing your center and losing the core,’ big accidents will happen both spiritually and physically and you will end up dying. Time too. You should use time correctly and not make mistakes [in using time].

Time passes without stopping for even one second. Time is firmly set. Therefore, if you make ‘mistakes regarding time,’ then everything you do that day will be shattered.

If you fail to use time at the right time, even if you do it ten times, you will end up doing it wrong and incorrectly. Even if you are a great student, if you fail to use time properly and make a mistake at the time of a test, you will ruin the test. Even if you are a housewife with great cooking skills, if you are mistaken about the cooking time and make a mistake with time, you will fail at cooking. In the same way, in both life and faith, you will fail and come to ruin if you are mistaken about time or make mistakes of time. Therefore, it is critically important that you should not make mistakes with time or are mistaken about time.

All human beings can succeed. However, people fail because they make mistakes and thus fail to do things properly. Everyone can achieve their own success even if it is not big success. With life, work, faith, and physical things too – if you want to succeed in them within God, ‘it is to do them properly without making mistakes.’ To not make mistakes, you must make sure to check. I hope that you will surely check to see whether it is work you should do [or not] and take action properly without mistakes!

Also, even if it is work you should do, if you do it while pushing yourself too much, it is hard. You should do the work steadily while doing the appropriate amount.

If you do the work while crossing the line due to a mistake, it will not be solved no matter how much you do it. Even if it is work that should be done, don’t cross the line and push yourself so hard. Instead, you should do the work appropriately and fittingly. If you grow tired while pushing yourself too hard, then the work that should be done will be hell instead.

Prayer is ‘work that should be done first and foremost.’ If it is prayer time but you do other work instead because you are busy, then that work will become heavier and more difficult. Even if you cannot completely finish that work, if you do the work after praying at the prayer time, ‘the work you do’ will turn out even better. ‘Absolute tasks’ must surely be done in the right order. You must never change the order and do other things first. But, you should not just pray either. You have to do a variety of things in your life.

Ignorance causes suffering for everyone, every day. There are so many people who do unnecessary work. They mistakenly do it and suffer even though it is something that doesn’t need to be done. A mistake is ‘an action that causes you to take a misstep.’

You end up centering on yourself because you do not become united with the Lord. Therefore, you will suffer and struggle so severely. If you take action being united with the Lord, you will receive power and capably do even something difficult. It is to do things properly without mistakes; not do unnecessary work; and do things in the right order. This is ‘the secret to succeeding’ in life, work and faith.
