If you like it, it will look even better to you. So you will love it even more.

  • Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.

People too – you have to like that person first. Then, even if that person has flaws and no matter what that person looks like, that person will look better to you so you will love that person more. The same is true with any object or being- you have to like it and delight in it.

Only then will you consider it to be greater than other things, value it, like it more, and rejoice in it. In this way, the same goes for God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son. If you don’t like them, They will not feel better to you, They will not seem valuable, They will not come to mind, and you will not grow to like Them.

When you like someone, your heart and thoughts will become ‘heated.’ Then you will become like water boiling up and rising. Once water boils up and rises, from that point on, you can cut up and put meats, fish, or various food ingredients in the water, boil them and eat them, right? In this way, since your heart and thoughts became boiled as a result of you liking the other person, from that point on, you will do various things for ‘the person you like.’

Look at tools or instruments made from steel. They cannot be made unless they are melted by boiling them vigorously in the furnace. Look at various foods like rice, gruel, or meats.

They must be heated to full rolling boil or roasted on high heat. Only then are they delicious because they get boiled, stewed, or roasted. The principles are the same for everything we do in life. You have to like it. Only then will your heart and thoughts become hot like water boiling or [metal] heated red hot. So you will live with the Lord while doing various things with joy. If our hearts are lukewarm and not boiling over with ‘love,’ God will only make ‘a history of raising a tree by giving it fertilizer.’ Our hearts must be boiling over with love. Only then does God make ‘a history of harvesting the fruit.’

Even if people listen to the Word – people who listen because they like it become hot right away and realize well. Even if people listen to the Word, if people listen because other people make them listen forcefully even though they don’t like it, their ears will not open and their hearts will not open. As a result, they will observe service in a superficial way and even if it is precious Word that will save them and change them, they will let it go in one ear and out the other ear.

If you are fiery, your heart, thoughts, and actions will not rot but ‘shine’ even more. If you are fiery, your daily life, life, and faith are more ‘delicious.’ If you are fiery, your thoughts, actions, and spirit will become even more beautiful, majestic, and wondrous. If you are fiery, God will also use you more valuably and will give you more. If you are fiery, you will raise your level and thus rise to the extreme edge. When you like it, your heart will become hot. Therefore, you will gain more hope and become fervent. All of you too – when you like something, your hearts become so hot, don’t they? You become hot when you’re dealing with something you like. When you become hot like that, from that point on, the way you treat it changes and the things you feel, the things you think, and the things you do all change. If you don’t like it, your heart will turn bad. If you don’t make it hot, your heart will turn bad.

The reason you are not fiery is that your thoughts are sleeping, your hearts are lukewarm, you are lazy, and you are living without a right mind. When water gets cold, you heat it up again to cook. In the same way, when your heart cools down and grows cold, you have to heat it up and make it hot again. However, you leave it alone as it is. That is why you turn bad. If your hands get cold, you have to heat them up by rubbing them together continually or heat them up by putting them in your pocket. In the same way, you have to do that for your heart too. If you fail to keep making your heart fiery but leave it in its rotten and bad state, ‘the scary day’ and ‘the day of disappointment’ will come upon you in a flash.

‘The heart and thoughts’ are quite scary. They completely turn over in an instant and they also come right back in an instant. Hearts and thoughts are such that one second you don’t want to do something and the next second you want to do it. Your destiny is changed according to the direction you turn your heart and thoughts. Anyone can do everything in a fiery way if they want to do so in an instant. On the ones who wish to take action, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son will work upon them in a fiery way, help them by sending angels, help them through people, and help and work upon them through creation. You have to do things in a fiery way. Only then will your thoughts be focused, you will become a powerful person, and thus, the work will be done well and not have difficulty when you work. Everyone, you have to get engrossed with things you must surely do and do them. If you make your heart fiery and do the work while really liking it and fully engrossed in it, miracles will happen every day!

When you look at this world, there are many people who don’t believe in God. Why do they do that? They don’t believe because they don’t like [God]. They don’t like God’s Word. They don’t like living according to that Word. That is why they don’t acknowledge God and don’t believe in Him, either. Those who have received the blessing of liking [things], those who have received the blessing of liking [things], continually take action in a fiery way and thus do not turn bad will climb to ‘the extreme edge’ by taking action to the end. You have to be fiery. Only then will you make fewer mistakes before Heaven and before your brothers, You have to be fiery. Only then will you burn up and get rid of sins by repenting. You have to be fiery. Only then can you burn up and get rid of various things like laziness, sloth, carelessness, thoughts centering on yourself, arrogance, jealousy, envy, feeling left out, ignorance, and misunderstanding.

You have to like it and work fervently and in a fiery way of your own accord. Only then will God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son like that and accept your heart and actions. It has to be hot. Only then will creation start and only then will the history of life start. If the weather is cold, neither grains nor plants sprout. The same is true with faith. You have to be fiery. Only then will all history start!
