It is a treasure to you.

  • Matthew 13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. …”
  • Matthew 7:7-11 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. “Which of you, if you son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! …”

Today’s passage from the Bible is about a ‘treasure hidden in the field’. What are ‘treasures’, and, what are ‘blessings’? Treasure is not only a nugget of pure gold, a diamond, or a bundle of money. The things that every person wants, the things for which every person hopes, the things every person needs, and the things for which every person wishes are ‘treasures to them’ in their individual ways.

Moreover, ‘blessing’ is receiving the things you want and the things for which you hope at each time. Gaining what you wanted, gaining that for which you hoped, wished, and looked is the treasure of life and blessing. Because you do not know the concept of a treasure, you are not aware that God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, our Lord, love you. Because you did not know about the ‘various treasures’ given by the Lord, you had not pleasure and could not offer thanksgiving.

One person tried to cut down and remove or sell a ‘tree in front of his house’, saying, “It is blocking the house and making me feel stifled.” While another person had no ‘tree in front of his house’, so he went around looking for a tree and was delighted when he found the tree that was about to be removed. Thus, even the same thing is considered to be ‘trash’ and thrown away by one person but considered to be ‘treasure’ and taken by another.

Gaining the ‘things people need’ according to each person’s individuality is the treasure of life. The same is true for salvation and the rapture, which are spiritual treasures. You must buy them by selling off all your possessions and doing your best. It is by paying the price to God through praying, giving it all your heart and Will, and giving it all your dedication and love that you buy the treasure of salvation and the rapture.

Now that you have listened to today’s message, ‘It is a treasure to you’, I bless you to live realizing that, you must do your best. Then you can make the treasure ‘your own’.

I bless you also to live the remaining time of this year more preciously than any other time and thus live gaining your treasures.
