- 2 Chronicles 35:21-25 21) But Necho sent messengers to him, saying, “What quarrel is there, king of Judah, between you and me? It is not you I am attacking at this time, but the house with which I am at war. God has told me to hurry; so stop opposing God, who is with me, or he will destroy you.” 22) Josiah, however, would not turn away from him, but disguised himself to engage him in battle. He would not listen to what Necho had said at God’s command but went to fight him on the plain of Megiddo. 23) Archers shot King Josiah, and he told his officers, “Take me away; I am badly wounded.” 24) So they took him out of his chariot, put him in his other chariot and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died. He was buried in the tombs of his ancestors, and all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for him. 25) Jeremiah composed laments for Josiah, and to this day all the male and female singers commemorate Josiah in the laments. These became a tradition in Israel and are written in the Laments.
- Ezekiel 18:19-20 19) “Yet you ask, ‘Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?’ Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live. 20) The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and thew wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them. …”
- Ezekiel 18:32 32) For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
When you look at (Ezekiel 18:19-20), which is today’s main scripture, it says that because they forgot God’s Word, people came to ‘sin,’ and because of that, their ‘spirits ended up dying.’ Also, when you look at (2 Chronicles 35), King Josiah forgot God’s promise to protect his nation. Because he forgot God’s Word, he failed to believe what God said through ‘King Neco of Egypt’ and fought against ‘King Neco of Egypt’ who had come to help his nation. However, while having forgotten God’s words and doing things according to his own thoughts, his body was ultimately struck and killed by an arrow.
The words ‘If you forget, you will die,’ are the lesson. They are words that become the path of life for your entire lifetime in the future. He said that if you forget, ‘that work’ will die, or ‘time’ will die, or the ‘spirit’ will die, or it will also be harmful to the ‘body,’ and the ‘body’ will die.
- ‘If you forget the Holy Son’s Word, you will die.’ And another is: If you do not forget the Holy Son’s Word, and take action on it, you will live.’
- ‘If you forget prayer, you will die.’ And another is ‘If you pray, you will live.’
- ‘If you forget about managing your health, you will die.’ If you forget to manage your health, your body will suffer, and since you are sick and cannot be active, even your faith will die, and your body will also be unable to live out its proper life expectancy. You must be healthy. Then you can live serving the Holy Son while loving Him properly.
- ‘If you forget about managing life, you will die.’ A person who forgets about ‘managing life’ is like a mother who left her baby by a water’s edge, forgot, and went to tend to her field. If you kill lives through ‘your harsh words and actions,’ you become ‘spiritual murderers.’
- ‘If you forget about thanksgiving and don’t do it, you will die.’ If you forget thanksgiving and don’t do it, both your faith and finances will die and the things you have been hoping for will die and not work out.You must give thanks to God with ‘words’ and also give thanks with ‘material [offerings]’ when [God] gives you ‘material blessings.’
- ‘If you forget about evangelism, you will die.’ If you do not evangelize, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son cannot fulfill the ‘Will of life’ through you.
- ‘If you forget about Satan, you will die. You will fall victim to him.’ Wherever you go, if you forget about Satan, it is a loss for the ‘body,’ loss for the ‘soul,’ and loss for the ‘spirit’ too. Then, when the ‘body’ dies, that ‘soul and spirit’ must go and live in Hell after all.
- ‘If you forget your hope and dreams and give up, you will die.’
- ‘If you forget about driving safely, you will die.’
- ‘If you forget to water the flowers, they will die. In the same way, if you forget to write something down when it comes to mind, you will die.’ ‘That thought’ dies because you forget, and because you cannot take action on it, both your ‘body’ and ‘spirit’ becomes like someone who is dead.
- ‘If you forget the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, you will die.’ When you receive inspiration, it means that the ‘Holy Spirit’ has come. However, if you reject that inspiration, you will incur losses, and as a result of failing to take action, ‘that work’ will ultimately die.
- ‘If you forget about centering on the Holy Son, you will die.’ If you forget about ‘centering on the Holy Son,’ only ‘thoughts of the physical nature’ will remain and so you will take action with the ‘body.’ As a result, both your ‘body’ and your ‘spirit’ will go to the domain of death and die.
- ‘If you forget daily repentance, you will become a sinner and die.’
- ‘If you forget harmony and peace, you will die.’
- ‘If you forget the value of the mission you have received, you will die.’ Whether it is small work or big work, if you do not value the mission you have received, you will die in regards to the mission.
- ‘If you forget diligence, you will die.’
- ‘If you forget the heart of wanting to take action, you will die.’ If you forget the heart of wanting to take action, your passion will grow cold and fire will grow cold.
‘If you forget, you will die.’ There are hundreds of kinds of Word that the Holy Son gave regarding ‘If you forget, you will die.’ If you memorize that Word and take action on it in your everyday life,
- you will not be harmed,
- you will gain the things you should gain,
- your body, soul, and spirit will not die,
- [and] you will save and gain lives.
You must truly treat this Word like a ‘treasure,’ carry it around in your heart like it is ‘your beloved,’ and use it.
