- Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
One day, I asked God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son about one thing while praying the predawn prayer.
“The Almighty God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, when choosing people, what do you consider ‘the key thing’ in selecting them? If You choose based on ‘knowledge of the world,’ by testing people on it, then I am not confident. If you choose based on ‘appearance’ too, I not only have no confidence, I will give up altogether. If you choose based on ‘height,’ I don’t even think of being chosen by the Holy Trinity at all. If you choose based on ‘some fame, authority, and wealth,’ since I am empty handed, I will not be jealous or envious even if someone I dislike is chosen and taken.”
At this God said: “No matter what time period it is and no matter who they are, I choose based on ‘love.’ “If God were to choose based on a person truly loving the Holy Trinity, then it is fair since anyone, no matter who they are, can ‘love’ regardless of appearance, height, knowledge of the world, fame, or wealth. The capital and resource of love comes from ‘the heart and thoughts.’ ‘Love’ springs up endlessly from the heart and thoughts. Since everyone has ‘heart and thoughts that can generate love,’ they are all equal before God no matter who they are. Also, since everyone, no matter who they are, has ‘heart and thoughts that can generate love,’ no one can make excuses before God saying, “I can’t do it because I am not educated. I can’t do it because I am ugly. I can’t do it because I am short. I can’t do it because I don’t have money.””
God said: “If I chose based on knowledge, since a stupid person cannot be helped even if he learns, it would not be fair for all mankind. Also, people are created according to their ‘individual characteristics’ and are born as male or female from birth, and are born with ‘their appearance,’ and since there are limits even if people improve the appearance they were born with, it would not be fair if I chose based on appearance. If I chose based on height, it would not be fair for those who are short because they cannot increase their height beyond the limitation [of your body] even if they make the effort. That would be the same if I chose based on fame or wealth. Whether they are educated or uneducated, they are good looking or ugly, they are short or tall, they have money and fame or not, as long as people have their hearts and thoughts and bodies, they can love Me, Yahweh, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. Therefore, I choose based on whether they truly love the Trinity.”
God does not choose people based on knowledge, appearance, height, academic background, money, or fame. He sees love as ‘the core’ and chooses based on one thing, love. However, it is you who are worried over needless things saying, “I am lacking in this area. I am lacking in that area.”
Love is ‘the core’ and ‘the purpose.’ What God had purposed was ‘unity in love with the Trinity.’ If you become one in love with the Trinity, then ‘you will succeed in everything you do in life.’ Those who shatter the love become people who shatter their life, which will love with the Trinity. So love will end. Since love, which is the core, ends, everything else will end too.
Just as you buy ‘a field’ because of the treasure hidden in the field, God buys ‘the field of life called that person’ based on love. Just as ‘a field’ has little value if a treasure is not buried in it, if love is removed, ‘that life’ does not have much value. Love that does not change, love that is not false but true love, love that is spiritual, love that does not deceive, love that does not betray, love that does not turn its back under any situation, love that is the same as the first heart… God chooses and uses people based on such love. Therefore, I bless all of you to realize this Word and engage in that kind of love! You must know why [God] chooses based on ‘love.’ The material with which to fulfill God’s Purpose of Creation is ‘love.’
When it comes to the love of human beings and physical love, even if they live loving abundantly without changing for an entire lifetime, it will end in an instant and it will not come to mind once the love has been done. Physical love is felt only the moment people love. When it comes to the world of the spirit, because ‘the spirits’ live and love continually, they love endlessly and continually without changing and [spirits] rejoice while feeling that love eternally. However, when it comes to the physical body, once the body dies, ‘love’ and ‘everything else’ come to an end. That is why I tell you to center on ‘the spirit that eternally does not die.’ I am telling you to live valuing ‘your body’ for the sake of your spirit, and to not lose ‘the love’ for the sake of the spirit’s eternal life.
In life, if you think wrong thoughts and make incorrect judgment because you don’t know, you feel so wronged. Just as a ski slope in winter time is only for a short time, the love of the world and all the things you do in the world that are of the body are only for a time.
As for life, along the way, even ‘the pretty and handsome appearances’ come to an end, even tremendous ‘money’ and ‘fame’ can no longer be used, and people cannot even take them after death. Even a billionaire who has lots of money and whose fame reaches up to the sky, cannot escape it when death is before him. Appearance, knowledge, money, fame… all of them will end. Ultimately, it is the spirit and the soul that will go to Heaven and live there forever. That is why God centers on the spirit. Your body has limits. However, your spirit will become like ‘a god’ in wisdom, understanding, and brightness according to how much you love God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. That is why God chooses people based on the spirit and the love, and carries out His Will and fulfills His purpose.
God weighs ‘how much you love [Him]’ on a scale, checks that, and chooses [based on that]. Everyone, now that all of you have heard the Word and came to know ‘what God centers on’ and ‘what He chooses based on,’ from now on, all you need to do is take action diligently and fervently.
