Freewill. Faith that can be helped and faith that can’t be helped.

  • Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

Life is not just a certain instant of time. Daily life happens continually for 100 years. Therefore, each day is important.

  • Could you live just because you have one meal?
  • Could you live just because you take a few big breaths?
  • Could you live just because you sleep a few days worth at once?

You have to eat and sleep every day and breathe endlessly in order to exist. Faith and the rapture too, are not determined by any single instant of time. Faith is ‘daily life’ and the rapture is also ‘daily life.’ Therefore, you have to do them every day just as you would eat and sleep every day and breathe endlessly.

You are not guaranteed continual [success] just because you did a good job and finished it in the past. You have to live that life in the present also and continue to do it into the future as well. Only then is it guaranteed. Just because you do something quickly at once or do a lot a few times will not produce the enormous [outcome]. Doing things every day and doing them continually is most important. Prayer too- if you stop after praying a lot just a few times, there isn’t much change. You have to pray steadily every day and pray earnestly every day. Then it will have a big effect and the prayer will come true. Faith, the life of the rapture, the life of love- people who take action every day are the ones living ‘the heroic life.’

When God gives the Word through the savior, it is up to each person whether they listen to that Word and believe it or not believe it, and whether they listen to that Word and take action on it or not take action on it. Even if you are given delicious food, you, yourself have to eat it and digest it. In the same way, even if you are given the Word that fulfills salvation and the rapture, it is you, yourself who achieve ‘the transformation of the body and the transformation of the spirit’ by listening to it and taking action on it. Even if God chose people and let them live believing in God and the Lord, He gave human beings the ‘freewill’ to think and take action on their own and do as their hearts please.

If God had not given human beings [freewill], no one in this world will stop in the middle of believing in God and the Lord. However, that is not ‘reason and justice.’ If that was the case, in everything human beings do- thinking, eating, dressing themselves, living – they must live with God’s involvement in each and everything they do. God does not look after human beings in that way. He lets people eat and digest on their own, see and hear on their own – He created their brains and allowed them to discern and judge [in their brains].

God plants ‘His Word’ in their brains, thoughts, and hearts so that they will achieve transformation while thinking and taking action according to that Word by themselves. As a result of that, God lets their souls and spirits transform into Heavenly form. No matter how much God and the Lord speak, your life will change according to how you think, judge, and take action. This is the law of reason and justice that God has established.

God does for [us] ‘everything He needs to do for us as God.’ However, He does not do 100% with the lives as He wishes. Because He gave human beings freewill, He lets people themselves make their decisions according to ‘their own freewill.’ Both your body’s destiny and your eternal destinies are determined by – “did you use your freewill well or did you misuse it?” You absolutely have to control your ‘physical nature’ and take action according to your spirit’s thoughts and the thoughts of the Holy Spirit and the Lord. You must not use your own freewill as you please but make sure to entrust God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord with it.

God said, “You should take action according to your own freewill but you also bear the responsibility.” You should take action according to your own freewill but since you have taken action according to your heart and as you desire, you will bear 100% of the responsibility for both the good and evil, and will pay the price for them. Even though you made the choice according to your own freewill, [the choice you made] could be the right path or it could not be the right path. You, yourself have to bear the responsibility and receive the consequences of that. A person who entrusted God and the Lord with their own freewill and took action according to Their Will will travel only ‘the path that God and the Lord lead.’

Once faith is critically damaged, it is really hard to get back up again. (*Translation note: original Korean is ‘once faith’s back is bent.’ But since it is awkward to say, it is translated as ‘critically damaged.’) It gets critically damaged because people take action improperly for a long period of time even though they are more than capable of keeping their faith from being critically damaged. Once a person leaves the Lord’s embrace, it is very difficult to come back again. There is a period of restoration that must be met and even if they do return, they can’t muster up the strength to take action with their lives on the line. This is because since they exhausted that much strength on the world, they just don’t have the strength. That is why they live only ‘an ordinary life of faith’ even if they do return.

After hearing today’s message, you have to use ‘your own freewill’ well by the direction of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord. If you do wrong, you will fail to use your own freewill well and thus, you, yourself will end up sending you to the domain of death. If you use your freewill incorrectly as your heart desires, your faith will become a faith that can’t be helped and thus, you will go to [the domain of] death. If you entrust your freewill to God and the Lord and use it well according to Their Will, your faith will become a faith that can be helped and thus, you will dwell with God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son Lord.
