Don’t forget the things you have prayed for and earnestly asked for. Then when they are given to you, you will know and receive them.

  • Deuteronomy 32:7 Remember the days of old; consider the generations long past. Ask your father and he will tell you, your elders, and they will explain to you.
  • Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.
  • Hebrews 10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

If, at the time you are conversing back and forth with someone, you talk with them having forgotten the things you had told them, even if the other person thinks about what they heard in the earlier conversation and says something that pertains to that, you will not understand it.

Let’s say that when you were having a conversation with someone you said, “I like strawberries. I want to eat strawberries.” However, if you forgot what you told the other person, even though the other person thinks about those words, brings you strawberry juice and says, “Both strawberries and strawberry juice are strawberries just the same, aren’t they?”, you will not understand what those words mean and will not know it even if it is given to you.

In this way, you must not forget the key point of what you have prayed for, earnestly asked for, and said to God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. Then when the time comes and so They tell you things that pertain to that [point], you will understand it saying, “Thank you for giving me the answer” and will realize “It was because I said those things at that time that They have given me an answer that is appropriate for that.”

However if you forget the things you have prayed to God for, have earnestly asked for, and said, you will not receive the things that ‘God gives you’ because the time has come God gives people what they have prayed for and earnestly asked for. He sometimes gives it to them in the ways those earnestly asking thought [He would], but sometimes, He fulfills the prayer through other methods. It means that sometimes He can give you ‘strawberries’ because you wanted ‘strawberries,’ but at times, He will also grant you what you want by giving you ‘strawberry juice.’

God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son all surely give [things to] you when the time comes. However, They do not give exactly in the ‘course and means you were expecting.’ They give it to you in ‘various ways’ that are appropriate according to the ‘methods of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son.’

Do not say that you have not received the things you have prayed for, but rather realize whether you are not aware even though you have received it, and you must keep these things in mind.

  • First, you must not forget what you have prayed for nor the answers you have received and the promises you were given.
  • Second, when they are given to you, they are given to you according to the ‘methods of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son,’ which are different from ‘your thoughts.’ Therefore, you must wait with your heart open to various methods.
  • Third, when they are given to you, they are given to you in ways that are different from ‘your own thoughts.’ Therefore, I hope that you will not ignore people but pay attention to and respect everyone, and not commit the conflict in ignorance.

After hearing this word, I bless that you will not forget what you have prayed for and earnestly asked for and will receive by opening the door of your heart to various methods since when they are given to you, they are given to you according to the ‘methods of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son,’ which are different from ‘your thoughts.’
