Your success and destiny are determined by your judgment and actions of an instant.

  • Proverbs 2:2-8 Turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

As you live your life, ‘opportunities’ come and go in an instant. However, if you miss that opportunity by failing to judge in an instant and taking action, the next opportunity will come again one year, ten years or twenty years later. If that happens, you will do everything that much later. So what a loss and misery that is, right?

There are many cases that when something happens, you hesitate and wonder ‘should I do it? Should I not do it? What should I do?” and your judgment and decision ultimately end up leaning toward the side of not doing it and thus, you fail to get it done. Once that moment passes, you neither have the desire nor the drive to do it. Then some opportunities come back around after a year and some come back around only after three years, seven years, ten years, or twenty years. Why were you unable to judge at that instant? It was because you came up with excuses [for not doing it] and hesitated while reasoning out the pros and cons. ‘The cycle’ always comes around again according to the type of item it is. Whenever you are trying to do something, something else always comes up and keeps you from doing this work as a result of that work. However, you have to ‘judge’ well. It is because your destiny is determined by judgment of an instant.

At the instant of opportunity, Adam and Eve were deceived by Satan, judged incorrectly and thus, disobeyed God’s Word and fell. Satan is a spiritual being and thus, cannot block a human being’s body directly. So, he first entices your thoughts. He entices your thoughts and makes you take action according to those thoughts. However, he cannot entice your thoughts for nothing. He entices you shrewdly and puts Satan’s thoughts in you and causes you to exchange the good Word and thoughts God gave you for [his thoughts]. Then by making you judge incorrectly for an instant with those thoughts, he lets even your body do wrong and come to ruin. He deceived Adam and Eve in this way too. With those bad thoughts Adam and Eve ended up falling in the body and as a result and even their spirits came to ruin. By Adam and Eve misjudging for an instant and falling, God’s Will was shattered. In the end, as a result of that, ‘the opportunity to completely be restored’ came to their descendants 6,000 years later. That opportunity is the time of the Complete Testament when God’s promise is fulfilled in this time period.

If you are hesitant wondering, ‘should I do it or not?’ at the opportunity that came for an instant, you will miss that opportunity. It will take a year or two years in order for that opportunity to come around again. Unless you judge in an instant and take action, you will spend that time unproductively without doing anything else big in that time.

You have to judge well in an instant with work to do and take action. Then you will gain a lot of ‘time’ and also gain much of ‘what you should gain.’ A lot of time’ is determined by your judgment and actions of an instant. If you judge well in an instant, you will gain big [amount of] time. As a result, you will even earn ten years or twenty years of time. That is why Satan tries to take ‘time’ away. This is because when we don’t have time, we can’t do ‘what we should do’ and thus, fail. However, he can’t take time away for nothing. That is why he looks for ‘an instant’ [to exploit] and hinders us. In the midst of daily life too – through ‘judgement and actions of an instant’, you can gain a lot of time, take action, and thus, get a lot of work done.

That is why you have to have ‘the wisdom of an instant’ regarding time. At the instant when a revelation comes, at the instant when an inspiration comes, at the instant when you realized, at the instant when something came to mind, you have to react quickly and do that work. When something comes to your brain vividly and then disappears, you can’t do it even after a week because it will not come to mind. Since you failed to do what you should do in that instant, you are unable to do it even after a week passes. Therefore, you have tremendous amount of time taken from you. When you realize and take action in an instant, even with little time you will gain ‘a lot of time’ and also do ‘a lot of work.’ Prayer, evangelism, management, delivering the Word you have to start even if you have just one minute:

  • If you take action with ‘that instant of time,’ ‘a miracle of time’ will happen!
  • ‘The opportunity’ passes in the time you are hesitating and debating
  • At the moment you see, at the moment you feel, at the moment you realize like lightning brushing against you – you must judge in an instant, do the work you should do and go the way you must go.

‘The opportunity’ is an instant. ‘Judgment and decision’ is an instant. If just a few minutes pass, your thoughts will lean toward the side of not doing it. If a few days, a few weeks, or a few months pass, you will decide, ‘I can’t do it’ and will not do it. That is why you must ‘train your heart, thoughts, and body to take action quickly’ in daily life.

How do you do that, you ask? If you make it a habit to judge and decide in an instant with the work you should do, your heart, thoughts, and body will keep going toward ‘the side of judging in an instant and taking action.’ You have to judge and take action quickly like catching light! In a flash like lightning! If you do it, you will lean to the side of ‘doing it’ and will be able to take action quickly.

This is true for the opportunity to share the gospel, the opportunity to hear the gospel, the opportunity to believe in the Lord, faith, and everything you do in life. You have to judge in an instant and take action at the moment you are doing it. Whatever it is, ‘the opportunity’ comes ‘n an instant and in a flash. Therefore, you have to judge and decide in an instant. You have to judge in an instant and decide with God’s thoughts and wisdom and with the Lord as your head and take action like light. Then you will be victorious over time, gain a hundred, a thousand, or ten thousand times the amount of time and succeed with time to spare.
