- Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
There is the most important thing [you must do] as you live your life believing in God and the Lord and loving Them. What do you think that is? It is conversation. It is communication. In other words, it is ‘prayer.’ Prayer is ‘something that belongs to you.’ Therefore, ‘you, yourself’ have to do it.
You absolutely need to have conversations in order to live with people in the world, don’t you? In the same way, conversation is absolutely necessary to your spirit. Prayer is ‘conversation.’ You have to have ‘spiritual conversations’ by using your body to pray. A person who does not pray is like ‘a person who has no conversations’ while living with people. Therefore, things don’t work out as much as they have not prayed.
In terms of the time period, we met ‘a time in which you really have to pray a lot’! Why? This time period is ‘the time period to live together with the Trinity while loving Them.’ The Old Testament was ‘the time period of servants.’ Therefore, they could not have many conversations with God, who was their master. And God, who was their master, did not meet them often through conversations. The New Testament was ‘the time period of children, the time period of brothers.’ Not all conversations between parents and children regarding various subjects go well, right? Not all conversations go well between brothers, either.
The Complete Testament is ‘the time period of brides.’ People who love each other want to have conversations. They even talk about things they cannot talk about with servants, brothers, and children. This time period is that kind of a time! ‘The Complete Testament bride time period’ is a time in which you consider God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, who are the subjects, as ‘your beloved’ and live with them while interacting with them and conversing with them both in an earthly way and heavenly way.
People will stop talking to you when they get upset. However, even if 7.4 billion people on the earth continually talk to Him, the Almighty God listens to and converses with all of them at the same time without stopping the conversation. He can communicate [with all of them] because He created the spiritual world to be that way from the start. Additionally, the angels also listen to our prayers and convey all of them to God. That is why God knows everything.
I told you in the past that prayer is like ‘work,’ right? Let’s say that you are going to build a house. Then you have to do ‘the work of building the house,’ right? Then it requires that much time. In the same way, since prayer is ‘work,’ sometimes it comes true after a day, two days, or a week. And sometimes it comes true after a month, six months, or a year. Therefore, what you are praying for will determine the time when it comes true. Don’t just pray and then do nothing. You, yourself, have to be awake and take action too so that it will come true. Even if you pray, you will gain only if you take action!
Why does God grant your prayers when you pray? God grants them because it is ‘His work.’ When we ask, seek, and knock on the door within God, the prayer of [us,] the ones He loves, becomes ‘God’s own work.’ Therefore, He grants that prayer. There is a law that the Almighty God established. He will give it to you if you ask for something that is appropriate, He will let you find it if you look for it, and He will open the door if you knock. The only condition is that it must be ’an earnest conversation of petitioning.’
And when praying to God, you have to ‘plead repeatedly.’ You have to ask many times and in some cases, you have to ask dozens or hundreds of times. He will grant some things ‘at once’ when you earnestly plead for them. This is because first, the right time has come. And second, this is because you prayed earnestly. On the other hand, some things will come true only after you have prayed repeatedly for months or years. First, it is because it takes time for you to realize and be made into [the worthy] vessel. Second, it is because God examines it to see if it is appropriate in His eyes. Third, it is because He examines it to see if it is the right time. Fourth, it is because you have to build up the condition while praying dozens of times. He doesn’t give you some things because you are too young. He will give them to you only once you have matured. In some cases, [what you are asking for] will happen if you take action on it. So He gives you inspiration, wisdom and knowledge, so that you will gain by receiving that ‘inspiration, wisdom, and knowledge,’ and taking action. Additionally, He will not give it to you if you ask incorrectly.
You have to ask for it appropriately in the Lord’s name. Only then will He give it to you. There are people who keep praying even though what they prayed for was already given to them. The reasons they think they did not receive it even though it was given to them are because sometimes He gives things to people in different ways. and because sometimes the person asks for ‘this’ but God gives him ‘that’ which is fitting for the person asking. When you pray, your ‘thoughts’ will be directed toward God and the Holy Spirit. When you pray, you become equipped with ‘the right attitude of the heart.’ There is something you must surely do before asking for something in prayer. It is to ‘repent for your sins.’
When you properly repent for the sins you have committed until then, He grants your prayers right away because you are finally worthy. When praying, you should not just blindly ask for new things. Instead, you have to think about the things He gave you so far, realize how He granted [your prayers], and be extremely thankful.
You have to recognize the heart of God granting [your prayers]. God cannot do things for you right away just because He is God. This is because the person who will receive needs time to equip himself and even though it is God who is taking action, He also needs to take action while resolving one thing at a time in the world. You should realize this, be thankful, and converse with Him in prayer. You should not try to make things fit your time but rather, pray asking God to do things for you according to ‘His time.’
Even with the things that God should surely give you and even with prayers you received answers for, you will still go through difficulties or trials in the process. Therefore, first, He watches to see if you endure till the end even if you face hardships and continually pray with hope and take action united with the Trinity before granting it. Second, He gives it to you after watching to see if, after receiving what you prayed for, you will not have a change of heart but use it as you promised –that you will use it valuably with joy together with God who gave it to you. Third, He will give you only if you know the value. Some people don’t know the value even after receiving it, have a change of heart and don’t use it in the way they promised, and live without being thankful unlike the first time they asked for it. People like that are not given things from the next time.
There are times when things don’t work out like your thoughts even though you prayed. You must never be discouraged to the end because God is trying to give you ‘something better.’ You have to be thankful and earnestly ask until the end.
God modifies situations in order to give ‘something good’ to the ones He loves. And He lets the receiver build up ‘conditions’ so that he can realize. This is because if it was given [without a condition], they will not know its value and other people or Satan will question them about it. If you don’t know the value or use it in self-centered ways even after receiving it, you will either not use it properly or lose it even after receiving it. God does not get deceived. Therefore, if you received something by praying, you should not live while using in a self-centered way and don’t have a change of heart. Instead, I hope that you will use it appropriately together with the Trinity who gave it to you and live being thankful every day, rejoicing, and with love.
