Do it. Don’t do it. Absolutely obey the words of the Almighty God.

  • John 8:51 Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.
  • John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My father will love them and we will come to them and make our home with them.

When God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son say something, They say it simply, “Do it. Don’t do it.” Even when They say something critical, they plainly say, “Do it. Don’t do it.” rather than using strong language. That is why people hear those words and simply dismiss them as ordinary. In reality, [Their words] are not things to be heard as ordinary. Even though those words may seem like nothing special, when you take action on them, they are extremely important and valuable Word, sometimes they are words that determine life or death, and sometimes they determine whether you will receive a blessing or a misfortune.

In this way, even though it is ‘the Word that determines life or death, and the best blessing or the worst misfortune,’ the Trinity simply only say, “Do it. Don’t do it.” They don’t tell you the reason about why you should do it or why you should not do it.Why don’t They tell you the reason?

  • First, They don’t tell you the reason because if you [obey and] do what They tell you to do and don’t do what They tell you to not do, you will understand [the reason] on your own from actually experiencing it.
  • Second, if you do or don’t do based on the reason, then you are deemed to have taken action after seeing the reason and based on it rather than seeing the Word of the Almighty and obeying.

If you obey because the reason is for you to receive ‘a misfortune’ or the reason is for you to receive ‘a blessing,’ then your thoughts are centered on the reason and not God’s Word. Therefore, since you do not center on the authority of the Word, you are deemed to not center on God. Therefore, you become  ‘a physical person.’ For that reason [God] does not tell us why He is asking us to ‘do it’ or ‘not to do it’ but instead, He plainly says, “Do it. Don’t do it,” and sees whether we value the Word of God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son. When God tells you, “Do it” or “Don’t do it,” you should not be curious about the reason but [simply] realize just how great the Word of the Almighty is, immediately be thankful, and obey with a joyful heart.

People ended up avoiding death or misfortune by doing what God told them to do. However, they don’t know that the reason they avoided misfortune was because they did ‘what God told them to do.’ Therefore, since they did not suffer misfortune, they wonder ‘Why did [God] tell me to do this even though there was no special reason?’ On the other hand, after not doing ‘what God told them to do,’ they suffer misfortune as a result. And only then do they [realize], ‘This is why God told me to do that. I suffered misfortune because I did not do that.’ Since they don’t know that taking action enabled them to avoid misfortune, they don’t know well what they gained by taking action.

In this way, when it comes to the Word of God, you have to obey it. Then you will understand. Otherwise, you will neither know that you avoided misfortune because you obeyed God’s Word nor know what you could gain as a result of obeying God’s Word.

You should think that you did not suffer misfortune and survived something dangerous because you obeyed God’s Word while doing what God told you to do and not doing what [He] told you to not do. And you should think that you were blessed because you obeyed God’s Word.

When we pray, God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son make us realize simply “Do it. Don’t do it.” [Such words] don’t seem like much but they are extremely big/significant because those words are life. If you take them lightly because they [seem to be] simple words, you will commit the sin of not obeying God and as a result of disobeying, you will receive misfortunes and you will be unable to receive blessings. In the Bible, [people] came to ruin, died, or suffered because they did not keep what God told them through the prophets, the Messiah, or people of mission. Those who took action according to that Word neither suffered nor died. [Instead], they were blessed as a result of obeying that Word and history of that time period was made. The words, “Do it. Don’t do it” may sound like simple words but they are truly great, big, and most important words because when people don’t obey [God’s instructions], they are punished for their entire lifetimes and even their descendants are punished for hundreds or thousands of years.

What kinds of things does God tell us to do and what kinds of things does God tell us to not do? You must do righteous things and you must not do unrighteous things. ‘The righteousness’ here refers to what is righteous in God’s eyes and ‘the unrighteousness’ here refers to what is unrighteous in God’s eyes. There are things you did thinking they were righteous deeds in your thoughts but they caused losses as much as you did them. It was because they were not righteous deeds in God’s eyes.

Your thoughts and God’s thoughts are different. Therefore, you have to always check before taking action. The clearest verification is ‘the Word.’ As for mathematical formulas, they are simply expressed as “add, subtract, multiply, divide.” With just a one or two [Korean] characters* If you follow those formulas, you will arrive at the answers. God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son do this too. They simply tell you to “Do it. Don’t do it. Add. Subtract.” If you do according to that Word, both your body and spirit will be blessed.

Today’s message – God, the Holy Spirit, the Holy Son tells us simply, “Do it. Don’t do it.” Even if They don’t tell us the reason They are telling us ‘to do it,’ or why They are telling us, ‘to not do it,’ you should think, ‘[They] are trying to let me be blessed and successful!’ obey that Word, and receive blessings and avoid misfortunes. Even if it is small work – if you don’t do ‘the work you should do,’ problems will arise as a result of that. Even if it is small work – if you do what you are told, ‘to not do,’ problems will arise and strike you as a result of that and thus, it will lead to suffering when you are trying to travel the path you must travel. I hope that you will realize this, value ‘the simple Word that the Trinity said,’ consider it as important, and take action on it.
