Do Not Give Up

(I prayed all night, struggling to meet the Lord, but I could not meet Him even after praying for more than three hours. I felt like giving up and wanted to stop praying. But at that moment, the Lord’ voice came to me. He said, “Do not give up.”)

Do not give up, but do it consistently. No matter who you are, if you are consistent, you will become an expert. Nothing can be achieved in an instant. Jumping forward in leaps and bounds is not the way to achieve your goal.

Is there anyone who can walk and run right after being born? Don’t newborn babies first crawl and then walk? Little by little they can run until it is like flying. Consider famous athletes, for example. Do they become famous without a lot of effort and struggling? No, they do not. They practice hundreds and thousands of times.

Eventually, they overcome their limits and are far better than they were before. Now, consider the flow of God’s history, the history which started from Adam and Eve. God created the universe and the Earth a long time before creating human beings. Afterwards, He created human beings on the Earth. How great were His dreams and expectations for the ideal world! But they were shattered by the fall of Adam and Eve.

Nevertheless, he did not give up. God worked until His will was fulfilled. It has been a history of tears and a history of grief. God’s history has been fulfilled because He did not give up but persevered until the end.

Do not give up or be discouraged when you can’t achieve something after you put in a little effort. Instead, think of it as an opportunity for you to do well, and let that thought cheer you up bit by bit. Do not try to do it just once or twice. Everyone can do it if they do it ten times, a hundred times, a thousand times or ten thousand times.

Can a man and woman have burning love for one another at their first meeting? That is only possible in movies, not in real life. First they feel good about each other and want to meet again. Then they continue to meet one another and become more intimate. After that, they come to understand each other more deeply. The more their feelings for each other grow, the more deeply they can love each other. Their hearts are then filled up with so much love that they cannot live without each other. This is how they get married and become one body.

The same applies to loving Me. Do not be discouraged because you cannot share burning love with me all at once. You have to meet Me at every moment and every single day. This is the key. Have I not told you that a person who receives Me everyday will receive Me when the time comes?

Imagine water dripping onto a big rock. Each drop of water seems so insignificant, so you might think, ‘What can I do with these drops of water?’ However, if the water continues to drip, it has the power to shape a hole into that big rock, which is something you yourself cannot do. Do not think that your love is so little. Do not say things like, ‘How can I receive the Lord with this kind of love? What should I do?’ Rather, try to love Me every moment and every day even if your love is small. You will come to meet Me more frequently as you love Me step by step. You will receive Me with burning love by growing your love gradually.

Do you know the biggest, scariest thing? It is doing things consistently everyday. A consistent person is unstoppable. If there is something that you cannot do, try to do it consistently until you are able to do it. Then you can surely do it. Therefore, there is no need to be discouraged or feel like giving up. No one can be successful from the outset. You need to struggle in order to do well. Do not struggle for only a short while, but be persistent in your endeavor until you fulfill it.

The same applies in relation to meeting Me. You have to hold on and call me until I respond to your call. My beloved, completely get rid of the idea of giving up. I, the Holy Son your savior, will be with you and help you without giving up. So why do you try to give up on yourself? Never give up! I, the Holy Son, love you.
