(While conversing with the Lord during the predawn hours, the Lord spoke of the things that we, human beings, need to be equipped with. So I wrote them down and put them in order.)
* The word of the Holy Son* My love. Endure without limit: Learn my fundamental endurance. I hope that you too will become someone who does not get angry or upset, or easily enraged and who does not recklessly judge but remains patient with all things, and waits.
Learn my endless love: My love that never changes is not a love that is poured out only according to people’s deeds or only according to their hearts either. My love is fundamental love; my love is God’s love; and it is a love that does not cease or change. So learn my fundamental love. If you love someone looking at their deeds or heart alone, it is a love that follows judgment between the right and wrong of their deeds or hearts. Then this is not a true love. May the heart of the Trinity, who fundamentally loves human beings, and the Trinity’s true love, flow in your heart. You should love expecting nothing in return. If you expect the person to whom you show your love to change because you have showed them love, you will be disappointed when you see them not change, and you will stop pouring out your love on them. Isn’t it so? Fundamental love and understanding toward life should be in the center of your heart.
Discern all things by wisdom: Especially sin and goodness need to be discerned through wisdom. Wisdom and understanding will increase your power of discernment more. This wisdom and understanding does not come from worldly knowledge, nor do they come from your intelligence. They come, however, from asking me first. If you pray and take action, while relying [on me], I will be with you through movement, through the situation, through the Word or through the voice of your heart. I hope that you will be filled with the wisdom and understanding of always asking me first before taking action, so that you will easily discern the good and evil in all things of the world, make the discerned matters clear, and do good deeds.
Draw a clear line between loving brothers and loving Heaven: Those who tilt toward loving their brothers only fail to properly love Heaven, so it becomes sin before Heaven. Those who love Heaven only fail to properly love their brothers. This, too, is a sin before Heaven and their brothers. Become a person who perfectly puts the love of brothers and the love of Heaven to practice. First, comes the love of Heaven. Next, comes the love of brothers. These loves differ from each other, but realize that they are connected as a pair. A person who perfectly loves Heaven can perfectly love their brothers; a person who truly loves their brothers is one who knows Heaven’s shimjung and loves the Trinity. Your love with your brothers should be formed because of your love with me, and you should love your brothers because you love me. You need to feel me through your brothers and put the love of brothers to practice by learning love through me. I hope you will be able to love each party appropriately.
Let go of greed for fame, money, and everything else that you can gain from the world: Most of the things that you can grab with your hands belong to satan. Things that belong to satan give you emptiness as much as you hold them, and the more you possess it, the more of it you wish to have. Therefore, do not want, wish, or long to have physical things. Ones who have spiritual things can have physical things also. A person who tries to resolve things physically will be tied down more physically; a person who tries to resolve things spiritually will be freed more both spiritually and physically. Therefore, do not live your life in the way the people of the world around you live. It seems to be a law and the path to live their way. But that path is the wrong path. It looks like a common road, but it is a road to Hell and to death. So do not have greed for anything; do not covet; and do not envy. May you become a person who can be thankful with what has been given to you and also can share Rejoice with small things; and be bold with big things. Only a person who can smile, rejoice, and be thankful with small and trivial matters of their life, can rejoice greatly, laugh more loudly and happily, and know its high value and the fruit of hard work when they experience big things. Happiness is always before your eyes. If it is your will, you can take hold of it. If you will stretch out your hand and cherish it in your heart, you can cherish it in your heart. When you grab small happiness next to you, rejoice, and delight in it; then you will be able to hold big happiness that comes to you, enjoy it and share it, too.
With big things, always be bold: Also, do not be shaken. Whether something joyful or sorrowful happens, and no matter what happens, you should be able to boldly fulfill big things without your heart being troubled. When it comes to small matters, do not take light of them as you carry them out; but value them as if they are important matters and pay attention to their details. With big matters, do not become nervous in your heart as you proceed. But you should be able to boldly carry them out without quivering or having tension in your heart. Then you will not make mistakes in any thing you do. Whatever it may be—either big or small—you need to aim at perfection in order to live a perfect and complete life.
Do not keep resting along the way: Those who keep going without rest can reach Heaven, succeed in their lives, and live in the way they desire. If you stop on the way, it is harder to start over. On the other hand, those who press forward without ceasing will climb over a mountain, create a mountain, and leave a history behind with their actions, even if their actions are as slow as a snail. It is so because their actions of tomorrow will be better than today’s actions. So you, too, keep going steadily. When you do something, the foundation for a great completion in your life is doing it steadily, doing it perfectly, and doing it until it is done.
