- Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
It is for each of you to make the parts about yourself that are difficult to make, and make your daily life beautiful. You have to surely make the two things! Do you believe? If you do, [your life] will become ‘a masterpiece life!’ One day I went to go look at rocks and there was a unique image rock. Other people did not buy that rock. I looked carefully and saw that people refused to buy it because of ‘a flaw.’
It was ‘a masterpiece’ when the flaw was not considered. In this way, each person has negatives*. They are not valued because of those negatives. (*Translation note: negatives = weaknesses, shortcomings, cons, etc. positives = strengths, strong points, pros, etc.) An ordinary rock without major positives or negatives cannot be made into a masterpiece. A rock with lots of positives and negatives is far better because they can be made into a masterpiece as long as the negatives are eliminated.
The same is true with people. Someone who has lots of positives and lots of negatives is better than someone who has no big positives or negatives. This is because the negatives can be fixed by working with ‘an expert.’ All you need to do is take action according to the Will of ‘God and the Lord’ who are experts at making people.
If you waited until you are fully made before being used, time would be short. It is beneficial if you fix and develop yourself while using yourself and if you use yourself while fixing and developing yourself because you will be used for a long time. How sad it would be if you make all the money and then die without even spending it or if you complete building a house and then die without using it? The same is true for you, yourself. Therefore, in life, you must run fast, develop fast, and fix yourself fast. Only then can you use your life much.
Even in living a day, you have to quickly do the morning work. Only then will you leave earlier to play in the afternoon and have much fun before coming back. You can easily know the future if you look at a day as a miniature version. When magnified, one year will be like that and a lifetime will also be like that. The person who takes action fast will finish fast and use much. All of you – examine ‘your daily life!’ Look at how you live a day.
If you start late, one day is short. As a result, the work will keep getting delayed and it will end without you using much. When you observe a day’s life, [you find that] you live one year, ten years, and a lifetime in a similar way. When you look at the big picture, you can’t fix yourself because you are unable to see the fine details. If you miniaturize it and look at it that way, you can see well and thus, you can easily fix wrongs. I hope that all of you will examine one day of your life and fix yourself! Only then will you live your life using much for the next year, ten years and a lifetime.
There are people who take the traditions followed long ago before [the world] was developed and live their lives following those traditions even in the developed world. Since they live failing to get rid of the old things, they are living behind the times. People who only repeat yesterday’s work and live thinking only about yesterday’s things are people bound to yesterday and ‘live one day behind.’ Since today has come, you have to do today’s work. Even though the Old Testament time period passed, the New Testament time period came and God sent ‘Jesus’ and was carrying out the child-domain history, the people of the Old Testament time who did not follow Jesus rejected the new history and talked only about the things that pertained to the Old Testament time period. Now, the old time period of the New Testament has passed and the new Complete Testament time period has come. Do you think God will keep repeating only the New Testament history? People who don’t know are completely oblivious and only the people who know will follow and fulfill God’s Promise of the new history.
Instead of just waiting for the time period to come, you have to finish the work you should do so that your dreams and hopes will come true when the time period comes. Should people who will compete in an international competition only wait while counting the days?
They have to practice and train to the extreme so that they can compete at their best on that day without errors. If a competitor only counts the days and waits, his coach will rebuke him so harshly for having the wrong mentality and attitude, won’t he? Even though it seems like there are many days left, if you calculate the work to be done with the remaining time, [you find that] the time is short. Therefore, you must realize that time is short for everyone. Like this year’s dream, I hope that you will hurry up and run like you are running a race or like you are catching light!
Rocks too – they don’t sell because of their flaws and negatives. However, they become ‘masterpieces’ when you buy them and fix their flaws and negatives. I told you that the same is true with people, right? Negatives and contradictions cause ‘the light of the whole’ to be lost. If you bury the old things =negatives and contradictions, you will become ‘a masterpiece life.’ I hope that you will hurry up, clear up and bury the old things and make yourself and your daily life perfect. May is a month when the fields are full of grain and the land is abundantly full of green leaves. In the same way, I bless all of you to make this ‘a season of abundant righteousness.’
