If you don’t do it, you will end up forgetting it.

  •  James 2:14,17 14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Whether it is something you were good at, something good, work of faith to be done, if you don’t do them, you will forget. Even if it is something you were good at, if you don’t do it, you will forget, your skill level will drop, and your senses will become dull. Praying, singing praises, giving thanks, repenting, delivering sermons, evangelism – if you don’t do them, you will forget. Therefore, each of you should decide the things you should do, set your heart saying ‘I am going to do this so many times and I’m going to do that so many times’ each day, each week, each month, and each year, and do them every day with your heart set on it. If you do, you will not forget but rather, your senses will come back and your skills will improve. Even with something you forgot, if you keep doing it every day, you will find it again. Even with something you are not good at, if you keep doing it every day, you will be good at it.

With people…if they forget something, they will not do it. Then they forget it completely. People don’t forget it all from the start. They gradually forget it because they gradually don’t do it. If you don’t want to forget, you must do them every day. This is ‘life’ and ‘daily life.’ This is the life of love in which you live with the Holy Trinity continually every day.

There are people who say about themselves, “I am weak. I cannot do it.” Why are you weak? Why aren’t you capable? You are weak and you are incapable because you don’t take action. Those who don’t take action every day are weak. Those who take action everyday are strong! Those who take action everyday will become good at it! Those who take action are the strongest and the most powerful.

Even someone who used to be good at something will be unable to do it as well as before if he doesn’t do it. If you take action on something every day, you will not forget things you did well before, you will not forget things you memorized before, and your senses and skills will improve. When you are good at something, it works out really well. Doing it is not difficult. You have to do a lot of it and do it endlessly at that time. When you are good at it, you have to get completely engrossed in it and take action on it.

If you didn’t do something before but then have a desire to do it, then you can do it a little. However, you are unable to do a lot of it. That is why ‘the ones who do it every day’ will get a lot done and achieve victory. You have to think every day. Only then will you think correctly without your thoughts getting rusty. You have to take action every day.

Only then will you do it correctly and do a lot of it and not experience a decline in your senses and skills. You have to do it every day. If you stop along the way or try to do it again after stopping, you can’t do it well because both your senses and feeling [for the work] have weakened. That is why people give up saying it’s not going well.

You have to breathe every day and eat and sleep every day in order to exist. In the same way, you exist while living with the Trinity every day and taking action every day, you raise your level by taking action every day, you transform by taking action every day, you feel by taking action every day, you gain and enjoy by taking action every day, and you live the present life and also build the future by taking action every day. People who do well while taking action every day have no complaints. In fact, they worry about ‘what can I do to do even better?’ It is because they gather and scatter with the Lord. A person who is trying to do things only according to their own will instead of doing things according to the Lord’s Will says, “This is my life. So why are you keeping me from doing things according to my own will?” Romans 12:28 says: Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. They do not like living according to God’s Will. So God lets them live according to their own will as they wish.

Faith is built upon ‘your character.’ That is why I tell you to fix your character and fix your Cain’s personalities. Who will fix it? Others cannot fix your character for you. Even God or the Lord cannot fix it for you. You, yourself should listen to the Word and fix yourself. People turn bad according to their character and turn bad centering on themselves. With your character you can neither save yourself nor save other people.

If you want to make and fix yourself completely, you must become one with a being who is perfect. Therefore, if you want to become perfect in body, soul, and spirit, you must abandon your thoughts and self-centeredness and listen to the Word of the perfect God, receive His thoughts and live by them. If you live according to God’s thoughts, you will ‘transform according to God’s thoughts.’ If you live according to your own character and centering on yourself, you will ‘turn bad according to your own character.’

Transforming for the better happens slowly and corruption for the worse also happens slowly. While living according to your character every day, you slowly turn bad and while living according to God’s thoughts every day you slowly become transformed.

You rise to ‘the higher level and to the more ideal level’ gradually while living with the Trinity and the Lord every day and taking action according to God’s Will every day. Consider the body. Its condition improves when you are exercising and managing but it worsens when you don’t. If you exercise and manage yourself every day, you become stronger and you can do ‘higher level things.’ The same is true with running. If you don’t run every day, you will be short of breath even if you run just 300m. If you run every day, you will easily run 2000m and even run longer than that. You have to take action a little bit more each day and take action a lot for many months. Only then will you raise your level more and be able to do ‘things that are high and deep level.’ The human brain, thoughts and body make progress the more a person takes action every day for more ideal things. If you make progress, from that point on, it becomes easier.

You should do it like you are climbing stairs. You have to climb up the first step. Only then will you see the second step and so climb up, right? Thoughts too – you cannot gain ‘the better method’ at once. Like climbing the steps, you must think ‘the first stage.’ Then ‘something good from the next level’ will come to mind. If you raise the level and think deeply like that, then you will realize the Lord’s thoughts, the Holy Spirit’s thoughts, and the spirit’s thoughts.

The same is true with actions. Like climbing stairs you have to first take action on ‘the first stage.’ If you do, you will achieve transformation at that level and in that spot you will see ‘what you should do better.’ And again, if you take action on that, you will gain ‘something better.’ If you realize and gain ‘better things’ through taking action and take action again on those things, then you will gain ‘much, much better things’ from that.

You have to have a heart of wanting to do things more ideally. If you don’t try to raise your level every day and so do things more ideally, you will slowly retreat and the level of your faith will stagnate at ‘a perilous position.’ In the course of retreating slowly like that, ‘the cord with the Lord’ will ultimately break. If you commune with the Holy Trinity every day, listen to the Word and take action every day, live every day loving the Lord and being united with Them, be thankful every day, repent every day, pray every day, praise every day, manage every day and take action every day, then you will transform every day.
