- John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
- 1 Corinthians 2:13… not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
There are two things we absolutely must prevent from happening as we live our lives of faith. First, we must stop Satan, the devil, and the slanderers, who are the thieves, robbers, conmen, and interferers who interfere when we are doing acts of ârighteousnessâ and take away âthe wealth of righteousnessâ that we had accumulated by doing acts of righteousness through stealing it from us and deceive us like conmen. Second, you must stop the physical nature, laziness, and misdirected thoughts that interfere with you.
How do you prevent it from happening, you ask? You prevent it from happening by praying every day during everyday life. By doing that, you must protect âyour wealth of righteousnessâ and protect âyourself.â If you do unrighteous acts, âyou, yourselfâ will be locked up in the prison of death. If you win by praying, you will lock up âunrighteousness, your adversary,â in the prison of death.
Starting now, I urge you to listen to the Word that the Holy Spirit gives:
âIf âthe car that you are riding in right nowâ is going to be involved in an accident and you know that, will you just keep driving that car and only go âyour own wayâ? Do you intend to keep âgoing your own wayâ while only thinking about other things? You should halt the steering wheel of your thoughts, shouldnât you? You must not go in further from where you are swimming right now. Because it will soon be time for the tide to go out, if you stay in longer, you will get swept out by âthe cold ebb tide.â Just as you would turn around quickly and get out, take action while checking your faith! There is âa deep pitâ 10 meters ahead on the path you are walking. If you knew that, would you just keep going? I am letting you know. So turn around quickly. Do not go on by your physical nature and centering on yourself.
A high suspension bridge will break and you will fall when you get to the middle of it but [I see] that you are walking on it without knowing that. I am letting you know through the Word. So donât go even one step further but immediately turn around and come out quickly! If you walk at such a slow pace, you will collide with âa speeding trainâ while crossing the rail road tracks. Will you still continue to walk at such a slow pace?
Just as you speed up and get out of there quickly, right now is the time when you must speed up your pace of faith to the extreme.
Right now, your baby is playing at the waterâs edge. Then he fell in the water and is now drowning. Will you still not quickly go there and see? You must set everything aside and run there, shouldnât you? In this way, there is work that must be done first. So do that first. People who donât take action even though I, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord, are inspiring them and telling them to stop âwhat they are doingâ and come quickly, are like those who, when a king calls someone along the road because he has need for someone to be used in his palace, say to a king, âI must go to submit my resume for a job. I must go before it is too late. So wait a minuteâ.
While a sheep is eating some delicious food, a cheetah was crawling slowly toward it from a distance to catch and eat it. A sheep next to that one said, âLook, a lightning fast cheetah is coming. If we donât run away now, we will be caught. Letâs hurry up and run!â Then the sheep that was eating said, âIâm in the middle of a delicious meal. Why are you saying that? You are asking us to leave because you are done eating, right? Iâm going to eat some more. There is plenty of time even if I run after Iâm done eating.â In this way, if you donât immediately cut off your âtendencies to be complacent, to center on eating, to center on playing, and to center on your own perspectivesâ right now, you will be hunted down by the lightning fast cheetah. Because you are caught up in eating and playing with a few [other sheep], a predator comes up right behind you and is wondering âwhich one should I eat?â
Even though that is the case, will you keep eating and playing like that? Just as [the sheep] would hurry up and run away before a predator pounces on them, you should immediately stop the wrong things you are doing now and turn around! Iâm teaching you the way to live. So take action right now! Kick the predator with your hind legs and hurry into the arms of Me, the Holy Spirit, and the Lord!
A thief is just about to open your room door. Will you still only keep sleeping? I am informing you. So grab a bat, hide behind the door, and beat him up as soon as he opens the door and peeks in. Right now is this kind of a time. Think fast and take action! A thief is just about to open the room door. Since I am enlightening you to this, you should immediately get up and take action, shouldnât you? What will you do if you go back to sleep again? Hurry up, get up, and meet with Me face to face. Meet with God face to face!
The dayâs last bus is about to leave. So will you insist on [staying and] eating it just because you bought that food? If you eat, you will miss the final bus and must walk over 100 ri distance all night long. Will you still eat the food? Even if you feel bad about the money you paid for the food, you must hurry up and get on the bus even if you are hungry and have to sacrifice eating. Right now is that kind of a time. So immediately judge wisely and take action!
Even if it means hardships, walking the path of life is incomparably better. Receive the wisdom that I, the Holy Spirit, give you. Therefore, wisdom allows you to judge correctly by weighing the present and the future together as one and allow you to take action correctly.â
Indeed, the Holy Spiritâs Word, âWalk âthe path of lifeâ even if it means hardships,â was the greatest word of wisdom and if it is followed, it makes an exhilarating history happen! You make âyourselfâ succeed with yourself. If you want to make âyourselfâ succeed with yourself, then your thoughts are very important. Your destiny is determined according to whether you think âspirituallyâ or âphysically.â
If you think physically and so take action physically, you will gain physically. However, physical success lasts only for âone time of the body.â If you think spiritually and so take action spiritually, you will gain spiritually. Spiritual success is âeternal success without end.â Physical things refer to eating, dressing, and sleeping with âyour bodyâ and gaining worldly wealth and fame. Of course you should do those things too, but you must surely do spiritual things. Spiritual things refer to gaining eternal things while doing âspiritual works of faithâ with âyour bodyâ centering on âspiritual heart and thoughts.â
Doing âthe more urgent thingâ at each time is the secret to success. It is to âdo first the thing that should be done first,â just as you dodge the rocks and thorn bushes that touch your body first. If a tree branch was about to poke you in the eye while you are walking on a mountain trail, you have to drop everything and dodge it, right? In this way, you should âfirst do whatever is urgent.â Then what is âthe work that should be done urgentlyâ?
It is the work that the Holy Spirit asked you to do, the work that the Lord spoke about. If you knew that a thief would enter your house that day, would you go to work to make money? There are things like that in your everyday life right now. There are things that you should do as the top priority but you are only doing your own work. You must first take action for âHeavenâ and then take action for âyourself.â
