- Psalms 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
When you look at the history of God, all the plans are contained in that [history] from alpha to omega, from beginning to end in an orderly fashion. God does not give things out of ‘the end.’ He gives a little at the beginning, gives a little more from the middle gradually gives more and more before the end, and gives ‘the best thing’ at the very end. When you are done and it is over and when you have endured everything until the end, [God] gives you all kinds of things.
At work, you are given your monthly salary once all the work is finished. Even those who receive daily wages are given the daily wage once the day’s work is completely finished. When a building is constructed too, at first, only the initial payment is made. Then the compensation for the work is given once all the work is finished. No matter what you do, various hardships, difficulties, and problems are present in all phases; at the beginning, in the process, and at the end. However, there are more hardships, difficulties, and problems at the end. Yet, the time when questions and misunderstandings are resolved, the losses you have incurred thus far are made up for, and you are rewarded for your hard work is when it has ended. God also gives the reward for your hard work that has been done so far at ‘the end.’ Therefore, you have to do things until the end.
Salvation too. ‘The one who takes action till the end and endures’ will receive it. Even if you believed in and followed the Lord at first, if you do not believe in and follow him till the end, you cannot receive salvation. Likewise, only a house that has been built to the end can be inspected for completion, be granted permission for use, and be used. A house that was stopped being built in the middle cannot be used. During the Olympics, in each of the competitions, only ‘those who have competed till the end’ are acknowledged and medals are given among those people. Even if a person was running in the 1st place at first or in the middle, how can a medal be given to someone who gave up in the middle and failed to compete till the end? Only ‘someone who ultimately won by taking action till the end’ will win a medal. If everything is given out in the beginning and in the process, can you find ‘a true person,’ ‘a righteous person,’ and ‘someone who does not change until the end’?
The people in the Bible too. Because they did things till the end, they resolved all their questions and misunderstandings, received blessings, and came to shine like the sun.
- Prophet Samuel: Even though God was personally ruling over them as their King, the Israelites called out to God asking for a king. So God instructed Prophet Samuel to anoint Saul and make him a king. Saul could not govern according to God’s Will because he ascended to the throne without preparing and receiving training. As a result of that, the Prophet Samuel who anointed Saul also suffered and was not receive [proper] treatment as a prophet. However, by taking action till the end, he received God’s revelation again and chose David, who was prepared by God, anointed him with oil, and made him a king. However, Saul was envious of ‘David’ and did all kinds of evil deeds in order to kill David. Prophet Samuel resolved the suffering and misery caused by Saul through looking at David, who did things well in ways that pleased God, and prayed for David till the end. Ultimately, King Saul was defeated in battle and he died tragically by committing suicide. After that, David ascended to the throne, ruled according to God’s Will, and the Prophet Samuel was also exalted. Because he did things till the end, all of his questions were answered, all the grief caused by Saul was resolved, and he also gained the things he should gain.
- King David: King David also suffered all kinds of tribulations, persecutions, and suffering at the hand of Saul and the agony of war at the hand of neighboring nations. Yet, he believed in and relied on God till the end. At this, because God was with him, he was victorious in everything, he ruled the nation peacefully, all of his questions regarding why he suffered so much at the hand of Saul until then were answered, all the misunderstandings and problems he had between Heaven and himself were resolved, and he received the rewards for all the things he endured until then. He made confessions to God through poems. That confession appears in Psalms 23:5. You prepared a table before me ‘in the presence of my enemies.’ You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. The presence of his enemies is ‘the end,’ isn’t it? When he did it till the end, God rewarded him for everything at the end. Even Satan could not question David because he received [his rewards] after receiving training and taking action to the end.
- Joseph: Joseph was hated by his brothers because of ‘a dream,’ was sold to Egypt, and lived as ‘a slave.’ There, he was once again falsely accused of sexual misdeeds, and was put in ‘prison.’ He went to prison and interpreted ‘the dreams’ of those who were in prison. He ultimately interpreted ‘the king’s dream,’ and solved a serious problem for Egypt. Through that, he became the vizier of Egypt. When he overcame all tribulations and hardships and went to the end relying only on God and loving Him, all of his problems got solved, his brothers who sold him to Egypt out of hatred submitted to him, he fulfilled God’s Will, he resolved his stories, and made his wishes come true.
When you look at the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, those who did things till the end had all their past questions answered and received not only things of Heaven but also things of the earth. However, those who, as they were going through tribulations, persecutions, injustices, and difficulties, misunderstood God’s history, did not believe saying they could not believe it, and stopped following as a result of various problems, ended up falling over on the wilderness-path of history, and did not fulfill the tremendous eternal Will that God planned for them. They became people who are truly ‘bitter.’ They could not receive ‘answers’ because they failed to do things to the end.
Someone who doesn’t do things till the end is like a person who leaves his house in the morning, does his work, stops on his way home at night and sleeps on the streets. Someone who does not do things till the end will be unable to gain the answers and will live unjustly with questions and burdens. Everyone, you must do things to the end. Only then will all ‘the questions of individuals and the questions of the time period’ be answered. During the process of taking action, God does not say it because it is ‘His secret.’
Once it is completed by taking action till the end, then it cannot be denied because it is visible to the eyes. Therefore, the person who has taken action will see and realize, and the answer will be visible. You have to get it done. Then God will give the answer. Since it is visible to your eyes because you did it till the end, you will acknowledge it. Since you have done it, even when the Lord says it, both ‘you’ and ‘the crowd’ will acknowledge it, be moved, and rejoice.
