Satan steals time from us so we can’t pray. He takes time from us so we will do a variety of other things. That is why you must set a time and pray at those times like Prophet Daniel did. You must also pray constantly in the course of your daily lives. You must always consult with me first about anything beforehand. Don’t look for me in the middle of doing things, but you must be sure to consult with me before you take action.
There are so many people who needlessly do things that don’t need to be done. I tell you to always ask me before doing things because you must do only what needs to be done and not do things that are unnecessary. If you do things after asking me first, I will help you wouldn’t I? This is the secret to achieving an ideal life.
You must be sure to pray to me beforehand. You must pray about things beforehand. Satans always know what you’re about to do and are always scheming, opposing, and trying to block what you’re doing. If you pray beforehand, satans cannot interfere with you as they wish, the angels will protect you because God and I answered you, and me and my Father get things done for you beforehand because you follow my Father’s laws. If you cook food a few days before, the flavor will change. But when it comes to prayer, the sooner you do it, the more powerful it is, it defends against everything, and the answers also come much faster. Same with fighting too. If you set up all your defenses beforehand, it is hard for your adversaries to attack and invade. You see how people always get victimized because they didn’t know beforehand and didn’t prepare beforehand.
Prayer must be done beforehand. You pray beforehand by waking up at predawn hours and praying before you start the day. If you know what will happen to you throughout your day, you must pray earnestly about that beforehand. When you don’t know what you should do or what things will happen to you, pray for peace. This is for your sake and for the sake of your brothers. Predawn hours are the hours in which you pray beforehand. Think about the days when you didn’t pray at the predawn hours. You will see that there are clear differences between days you did pray and days you didn’t pray.
If you pray when problems occur, things will not work out properly. You can’t pray properly with peace in your heart because you are so busy trying to resolve the situation you’re facing. If the accident has already happened and the people who were going to die have already died and people who were going to get hurt have already gotten hurt, should you pray then? That is why I told you earnestly since the past to pray at the predawn hours.
Haven’t you heard those earnest words and realized? Pray a week before, a month before, a year before. I want you to pray earnestly today for tomorrow and for the day after tomorrow. People who pray beforehand are truly few. ‘Prayers of preparation and prayers of prevention’ are prayers of victory.
Prayer is fire. Don’t you say that when you pray your heart becomes hot and your body gets so hot you feel like you’re going to die? You become hot when you pray because when you pray, my spirit, my Father’s spirit, and the Holy Spirit comes over you. Didn’t the bible say that “God is a consuming fire?”(Deut 4:24) You burn up the sins, burn up ignorance, burn up wickedness, burn up satan, burn up laziness, burn up the physical nature, burn up your various thoughts and actions that go toward the world by receiving the fire that I, my Father, and the Holy Spirit give you. With what will you burn up the thorns, thistles, and sins in your hearts? You must receive the fire of the Holy Spirit and receive my heart. Then you can burn away all the unrighteous things that are in your hearts, no? With your hearts alone, you can’t fix them even after a year or 10 years pass.
You must receive the fire of the Holy Spirit and receive my mind and heart. Then you can burn up your physical nature and anger in an instant, burn away all the filthy and dirty thoughts, burn away all the lewd, wicked, lazy, complacent thoughts, and can burn away in an instant all the arrogant minds. Everyone, no matter where you go or what you do, ask me first through prayer and then do it. Prayers that are done like a force of habit, and prayers done like ritual, are dead prayers and therefore, do not get delivered. Don’t just pray prayers telling me but pray prayers that get answered. Prayer that is done out of a sense of duty in which you only tell me your story will not do. You should pray earnestly, and beg and plead for things to happen according to the Lord’s will. Don’t simply tell me your story and end it there.
The reason you didn’t receive answers and didn’t get your wishes fulfilled is because you did not pray sincerely and earnestly even if you did pray. It is while you are praying that you have conversations with me and talk with me about life. Do you think you should pray only when you’re asking for something or when you have problems? If you do, when will you have peaceful conversations with me and conversations of love with me?We must have lots of conversations of love. Then I will understand your heart well and I will grant your prayers well because you love me.
Prayer is investment. If you’re doing something that requires 10 days of labor, you should pray for at least 3 days, no? Even if you do that, you still profit for 7 days, don’t you? How can you profit if you don’t make the investment? Just as you must sow the seeds in order to reap, you must make an investment. Then you can profit from it. Just as a merchant spends his own money and buys merchandise for $20 and makes profit by selling it for $30~40, if we were to calculate the time you spend on praying in terms of money, if you want something, you have to invest that much through praying. If you pray, it is good because the mind of the person praying changes and improves and when you acquire the things you wanted, you treat it more valuably because you prayed for it.
Also know that you must pray abundantly and not be stingy with prayer. If you had prayed beforehand, you wouldn’t have suffered because you would have taken action after receiving the answer. There are so many people who go through suffering they didn’t need to go through because they didn’t pray beforehand. People don’t know if they aren’t told. The Heavenly Father established the law so that people have to be told in order for things to get done. Talking is your responsibility. In the world, things that wouldn’t have happened will happen if you talk. In the same way, He will make it become possible only if you talk to Him by praying.
You must pray the kind of prayers where you will receive a clear answer about whether it will be granted or not. If you pray vague prayers and wait with vague expectations, you will become discouraged if it doesn’t come true. That is why I tell you to pray until it is answered.
There are many people who don’t pray because they think, ‘Will He answer prayers that pertain to the entire nation just because of me, just one person?’ There are many who don’t pray because they think, ‘God already made His decision based on each person’s deeds and is already paying everyone for their deeds. Will He change destinies just because I pray?
Even if I do pray, I have to pray struggling with all my might in order for Him to answer. That is hard.’ Do your faiths become comfortable, good, and shiny just because you don’t pray? If you are idle, your faith will ultimately become weak. That is why I tell you do not be idle but do this for your sake. If a person is idle, they have nothing to show for it even if they rest for 10 years. If you work, there is immediately something to show for it even if you work for just a day.
Whatever can’t be done because they are dangerous or because circumstances don’t allow it, you get them done by praying. Didn’t I say, ‘Prayer is work.’ If you pray, me and my Father hear that prayer, send people, and make it possible to do. I want you, the people who will come to Heaven, to look to the future and pray with joy and hope and don’t be idle in your hearts.
I told you about prayer. I want all of you to know and pray diligently. You truly must not do ‘bathroom prayers.’ A bathroom is a place only you use and then leave. ‘A bathroom prayer’ is a prayer in which only you do the talking and finish, a prayer in which only you do the talking and aching. By praying, you must do things while discussing with me who receive your prayers and the Holy Spirit who helps you with your prayers I have told you these things. Therefore, make it so I, who listen to your prayers, don’t get frustrated by obeying what I said. I pray the grace of prayer fill you fully. I truly love you. Don’t worry. Only be filled with my love and don’t change.
